I've been listening to the PW and GZ tapes and man, Mother Base seems like the comfiest place ever, hands down. Especially with all the wacky or laid back events going on, like soccer, fishing, the birthday parties, sauna wrestling, etc. I hope TPP has more tapes or scenes like this, with all the escapades going down at MSF it almost feels like some TV drama.

Disappeared from the thread for a while because reasons, but I just completed MGS3. Gameplay was still clunky and annoying but god damn, I was not ready for those feels.

I know MGSV is going to look much better on the PC, and I usually buy PC over consoles, but I feel like I should get MGSV for the PS4 just because I've played all the other MGS games on the PS since I was 8. Anyone else feel this way?

I like that he's really showing off that stealth suit, makes me think that's kind of the main suit of the game Kind of makes me regret buying a 100$ action figure of Punished Snake in the afghanistan costume, but that's kojima for you

The main suit of the game for me will be the naked-camo. ;D

TBH I'm glad the Sneaking Suit like this makes a return. I loved the look of the one in the first game and hated the no vest version from MGS2. However, the Afghanistan outfit may be a better look. I'm extremely fond of Tiger Stripe.

Yes, the tiger stripe feels to me more like an official 1984 Big Boss look. Plus I did some research on the tiger stripe camo that he wears, and I found that it is a specific coloration from the early 1970's worn specifically by US Special Operations Group advisers. It's known as Golden Tiger Stripe/Tiger Stripe Gold. Do we know if camo index is gonna be a thing in MGS5? If it is, I imagine the stealth suit will work kinda like the one in MGS3, where it makes your stamina and health drop less, but will never reach a camo index as high as environment appropriate camo might.
