troy baker said kiefer sutherland was the bomb I don't know about you guys but I can't think of a single time Revolver Ocelot wasn't trustworthy so I believe him
He's the bomb He's also NUCLEARRR Snake is a nuclear bomb [sp]The Human Slingshot is the weapon to surpass metal gear[/sp]
He's the bomb He's also NUCLEARRR Snake is a nuclear bomb [sp]The Human Slingshot is the weapon to surpass metal gear[/sp]
That might be a good twist, BB is so desperate to get vengeance on Cipher that he lets himself get captured so he could nuke himself inside their HQ
That might be a good twist, BB is so desperate to get vengeance on Cipher that he lets himself get captured so he could nuke himself inside their HQ
There's just like, one tiny error in that theory though Big Boss shows up in Metal Gear and he doesn't have any nukemarks on him.
Isn't that Peace Walker's schtick
regarding inconsistencies with BB's design in later games since Kojima keeps teasing that Boss's horn can grow I wonder if at some point during the game it's gonna plop out of his head and then someone gives him an arm transplant You gotta love Metal Gear Solid. In 1984, Big Boss was able to get a fully functional prosthetic limb that is ludicrously advanced by modern day standards. Kaz, his best friend at the time, gets a stump and a peg leg. In 2005, Ocelot was forced to make do with stapling the arm of his dead lover's son to his stump, even though full body cyborgs are alive and real.

I think thats excusable. Also, in Metal Gear 1, there were legit Terminator style androids, its weird.

That horn's gonna fall out as a visual metaphor that kaz he's no longer a demon It's such a Kojima thing, like the snake crawling off Boss's breasts

"Boss?" "THERES A FUCKING WINDOW INTO MY BRAIN, OCELOT. GET THE MEDIC."
"Adam help theres a fucking hole in my head." "Boss?" "THERES A FUCKING WINDOW INTO MY BRAIN, OCELOT. GET THE MEDIC."
THERE'S A HOOOOLE INSIDE MY BOOOOOOAT
somenoe on /vg/ pointed out Snake has a permanent exclamation mark now HE'S ALWAYS ALERTED BABY
Dark times have fallen on Diamond Dogs and Miller's mental health.
I keep coming back to Ground Zeroes. I know it's a bit darker and all that but I find Chico having a hole for his earbuds in his chest a bit strange. It's never explained and doesn't seem to have a purpose. Maybe dealing with PTSD?

Right now it's just a weird little thing. It could be that he's listening to his heart to make sure he's still living or something.

Maybe dealing with PTSD?
The way I see it, they kept seeing him record things and Skull Face was a particularly torturous bastard, so he probably had it done to the poor kid as a sort of 'hey if you like your tapes so much, how about a hole' sort of thing.
Right now it's just a weird little thing. It could be that he's listening to his heart to make sure he's still living or something.
I thought that, too, and it's probably what it's supposed to represent, just that earbuds don't work that way. But hey, MGS had a guy using bees as weapon.
I just beat MGS 3! Holy shit, The Boss was hard to beat but it was worth it. If only I have a PS3.
I just beat MGS 3! Holy shit, The Boss was hard to beat but it was worth it. If only I have a PS4.
I beat The Boss with just the knife and CQC. It was fun.
Does anyone have the video that showcased all the retarded cutscenes in the Twin Snakes
Does anyone have the video that showcased all the retarded cutscenes in the Twin Snakes
This isn't all of them but a lot of the dumber ones are in here.
I beat The Boss with just the knife and CQC. It was fun.
I beat The Boss with a sniper rifle, grenades, and more guns.
I beat The Boss with a sniper rifle, grenades, and more guns.
try using the fake death pill on the boss she's just like 'oh come the fuck on'
i spent like two hours on this because i don't know if someone already made a joke like this big banjo and kazuhi [editline] February 22, 2015 [/editline] [t]http://puu.sh/g7Eq1/0f4f56828e.png[/t] have an armless version too, probably looks a bit better
There really should have been a Liquid wig for Pliskin as a bonus item or something

I'd call it better technology.
This isn't all of them but a lot of the dumber ones are in here.
I still like the theory that Twin Snakes is the retelling that the Patriots used to make Snake seem like a badass hero.
I still like the theory that Twin Snakes is the retelling that the Patriots used to make Snake seem like a badass hero.
But the Patriots hated the fact that Snake became a hero. Twin Snakes is probably Otacon getting drunk off his ass after Snake died and telling everyone how cool he was. "and then he did like 50 back-flips and then he caught his gun and then shot sniper wolf oh shit i'm gonna cry now fuck you snake"
nah, MGS1 is canon raiden's VR training, that's shown multiple times plus it's part of the metatextual mindscrew that you played his VR several times
What about the whole Raiden VR thing? That'd make perfect sense wouldn't it? (Obviously not how it was imagined at first but it fits well with the current timeline now that there aren't any blank areas aside from Sunny)
I remember someone pointing out that there's a VR target thing in REX's hangar when you're heating/ cooling the card keys.
I remember someone pointing out that there's a VR target thing in REX's hangar when you're heating/ cooling the card keys.
welcome to metal gear solid, where the HD re-releases of other games are actually VR programs played by a character in the sequel how can you not love this franchise
how can you not love this franchise
I made the mistake of going into phantom pain youtube comments "WTF CARDBOARD BOX AND FULTON UNREALISTIC" That was just so amazing on multiple levels. Since when is MGS realistic and since when are cardboard boxes and fulton recovery system unrealistic? :v:
