MGS1 is a pain the ass if you've played MGS2 before because you keep wanting to roll/flip and walk but you can't. And MGS4 spoils the first 3 because you can finally crouch walk

I feel like the only person in the world who doesn't like Revengeance (and 4 to some extent), Jack the Ripper died along with Solidus as far as I'm concerned

It's so inconsequential to the rest of the series so far. It's basically just Metal Gear Gaiden.

I'll be honest, my introduction to this series was Egoraptor's cartoons. They were so funny to me even though I didn't understand the references. But after playing MGS1, my god, they are so accurate it's insane. Started MGS2 and MGS3 around the same time but ended up liking 3 a lot more so stuck with that, Ground Zeroes came so I played that, then got back into 2 and finished it. Then I got Metal Gear Rising for cheap and pretty much plowed through it over a few days. After that, I went back to Peace Walker (started around the time I finished 3) but kept getting stuck on the boss fights. Before I managed to beat the chopper, I finally managed to emulate MGS1 and finish that over a few days before finally completing Peace Walker. And I'm going to get to play MGS4 very soon. But I have a crystal clear understanding of everything about Metal Gear Solid, I promise.
