Wait, so we do get the art? because the special edition isn't showing it and only the half sized arm.
Yeah it seems we don't get the cool poster that Japan gets :(
Damn, the Ocelot camo is DLC.... B-B-But my waifu...
Yeah it seems we don't get the cool poster that Japan gets :(
it's an art book, not a poster.
ah, nevermind then. I don't have much use for Artbooks :v: btw, is it ok if I jack parts of the OP for an MGS thread I'm making on another forum?
I heard that MGO is also launching at the same time. Does this refer to Co-Op or is this the thing that allows your base to be invaded? Also
An accompanying iDROID app will allow players to manage their Mother Base and its development
. Will I have to install an app on a smartphone?
Also . Will I have to install an app on a smartphone?
i fucking hope not, i dont have a smart phone
No, no app is required. It's entirely optional. I heard the Mission Creator is app exclusive though.

I just realized PC release is not Sept 1st but September 15th -__________-
I just realized PC release is not Sept 1st but September 15th -__________-
2 weeks is alright honestly... as long as it's not 1,5 year
Once again, PC gets the short end of the stick. You could've been a hero to us all, Kojima... I don't buy the "it's not as bad as it could've been" excuse. You shouldn't be complacent with delayed PC versions being the standard. Especially for something like MGS, because even with just two weeks of delay, the story is going to be spoiled completely and talked about everywhere by the time you get to it on PC. I was hoping to dive into a new MGS and experience it alongside everyone else for once, but I guess I'll either have to shell out $60 twice or literally avoid the Internet for half a month. And I don't even own a PS4/Xbox One, so I'll have to go for the PS3/360 versions. Also slightly disappointed that the western special editions are worse than Japan's, but that's also nothing new. Japan always gets the most extravagant versions of MGS games. Not like I can even get a special edition anyway since they're PS4/Xbone-exclusive...

Gonna get the CE for PS4 and play it on my own pace and style and later on i will get it on PC and then i will go for 100% completion. Can anyone explain to me why Japan is always getting more Metal Gear exclusive shit? This happened before, even all the way back to MGS 1 where it had a special CE. As far as i know MGS is also extremely popular in the western market.
I think I'll buy it first for PS4 then buy it on PC later once it costs less. I like MGS but not enough to buy it at full price twice
I think I'll buy it first for PS4 then buy it on PC later once it costs less. I like MGS but not enough to buy it at full price twice
So far i know from PC games i wanted at launch but not wanting to pay the full price, they drop rather fast on the key market but the next step is to find one that is actually legit/trustworthy. I had Wolfenstein for like 30-35 euro 2-3 weeks after release.
oh boy i can't wait for MATHERBASE customization and also LOGICAL PRICE CONVERSION
PC release dates are tricky. Logically, all the options and extra features must take a longer time to finalize, and why would you delay console releases when the only thing left is the PC version? I can only guess as to why it isn't released at the same day (no, it's not for some piracy bullshit) but I'm almost certain Kojima and Konami have no ill will towards PC, look at how polished Ground Zeroes was.

Mather Base is where Big Boss teaches child soldiers high level algebra and then enters them into Ivy League schools
That's actually one thing I was curious about: does the digital PS4 release of Ground Zeroes net you that staff DLC? I got it physical on PS3 but obviously that's only gonna work on the PS3 version (I'm getting the PS4 version of TPP). If anyone knows, please reply. EDIT: NVM found it out
For those who had purchased the game digitally, regardless of region, the entitlement to the DLC received from registering the game via KONAMI Core will be linked to either your PlayStation or Xbox Live account – METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN will check that the game is in your purchase history, and will grant rights to that DLC when the game is released.

and also LOGICAL PRICE CONVERSION
Jesus christ as if it couldn't get worse. Not only are euros worth more than dollars, we're also having a higher base price to begin with? Come the fuck on Konami.
that rex head sure does look stealthy.
