I damn well know the first images of people getting that arm are going to involve a middle finger.
I damn well know the first images of people getting that arm are going to involve a middle finger.
I better see someone on /v/ using it to jack off. I'm gonna be dissapointed if that never happens.
I damn well know the first images of people getting that arm are going to involve a middle finger.
Didn't kojima do it but then edited it out of the picture once he realized he left it there
I damn well know the first images of people getting that arm are going to involve a middle finger.
If I remember correctly Kojima has tweeted a picture of the arm in the background of a monitor shot doing just that, then deleted it and replaced it with a cropped version.
I hope the fingers are strong, it's going to be scratching my back a lot
my brother who has a far more impressive MGS shrine than myself (Several action figures and models of REX and RAY) is gonna be dissapointed He wanted the arm and was going to get an airsoft M1911 to go in it's hand Might not work so great now that it's 2:1 I told him about the japanese 1:1 and he told me he's gonna hunt that down. It's nice to know I'm not alone in insanity.
If it is any small comfort, he might be able to find a colt pocket like this http://www.amazon.com/Colt-Black-Airsoft-airsoft-gun/dp/B000JIH7SQ Its not a 1911 but it is something.
Aww, no lighter in the thumb?
Aww, no lighter in the thumb?
Big Boss isn't ET, you know :v:
Big Boss isn't ET, you know :v:
Somebody doesn't remember Peace Walker
the guy who ported sunny to sfm made a nude model of her
That's pretty fucked up. Isn't she like, six?
That's disturbing as fuck.
Ayup. Pedo alert.
With how serious it is, I really hope/feel that MGSV is the final thing to tie it all together. Then the cycle is complete and I can enjoy the continuity before any clusterfuck milking.

And every single game in the series since MGS1 was supposed to be "the last". Including this one. So yeah, who fucking knows. Even if they do close off the story loop, we'll probably still see something. MGS6, MG1/2 remakes, a reboot, a Solid Snake spinoff story, who knows. But I doubt the series will actually end here.

Although say what you will and revvvvv up those dumb ratings but I genuinely think the only story you need to explain Big Boss was MGS3. He was betrayed by his government and watched the greatest soldier ever get tossed aside like a socket wrench. Boom. That's all you need to know as to how he got so twisted. Everything else is just really enjoyable gravy.
I wonder how MgsV is gonna be on the 360 since 4 was said to take about seven discs if it was ported. Then again 4 had shit-ton of dialog.
I wonder how MgsV is gonna be on the 360 since 4 was said to take about seven discs if it was ported. Just look at Metal Gear Rising, the game would be 2-4 gigs by itself if you removed all the pre-rendered cutscenes. Sorta like Ground Zeroes, since it doesn't have anything pre-rendered itself. If, as a tech porn game for FOX Engine, The Phantom Pain more tastefully uses its compressed or uncompressed assets and avoids pre-rendered videos, even a game as large as it may be can trim a lot of the size fat off like Just Cause 2 did.

At some point we have to see BB have this development of Soldier-for-the-good-of-many (MGS3) to Soldier-for-the-good-of-soldiers(PW) to his eventual turn into this villain he's made of himself (MGSV supposedly). I guess MGS4 did tie that up rather nice at the end, but I feel there's alot more to be had with BB to really flesh him out and show this decline and eventual 'redemption' by Solid.

Guess there was no way they were going to fit it all on DVDs.
7 in MGS4 and 11 in MGR :v: [editline]5th March 2015[/editline] Keep in mind the same guy made a nude clementine from TWD, and is planning to do a nude ellie from TLOF :v:
Call the cops.
I doubt that the MGSV will be final MGS also Kojima said that he would like to Remake his first MG games in FOX engine after that then it will be in full circle
I doubt that the MGSV will be final MGS also Kojima said that he would like to Remake his first MG games in FOX engine after that then it will be in full circle
kojima will probably work on some other game, and konami will probably make more metal gear games. Considering how people don't consider portable ops very canon the same will probably be said of the future metal gear games (unless they leave the snakes alone)
I think he'll take a role of producer like in MGR, just to make sure that new Metal Gear won't turn into ubershit.
Kojima is just tired/done with Metal gear after making MGS V and after he starts working on other shit he will get the itch again to work on some more MGS and then we will get a new MG game. I think that is the case for all the MGS games so far :v:
Unless I'm mistaken there's no way to obtain a CE, let alone physical copy, of Phantom Pain for PC, right? It's a digital-only release. Meh.
Unless I'm mistaken there's no way to obtain a CE, let alone physical copy, of Phantom Pain for PC, right? It's a digital-only release. Meh.
Yes. But there is still 6 months left though. Since there is a physical release of ground zeroes there is a small chance I think.
I really would like to see non-canon games after mgsv tho.
if we were to get fox engine remakes of 1 and 2 would you want to play it the original way or with like ground zeroes controls? i could do either, and it would be neat to see both implemented.
