Seems updating my Dolphin emulator version now lets me play Twin Snakes at a mostly-consistent framerate. Of course I spend ten minutes fumbling around with the controls after playing it months ago, trying to figure out where the damn codec screen was and looked up a guide only to find out it was Start+A because Gamecube controllers lacked a Select Button. :v:

I don't really care about the MGSV PS4 but I do want the MGSV plates that were shown off some months ago

I love the surreal feeling that MGS2 gives off, not just in story, but in like the graphics and music and stuff. It just all feels really surreal.

I really feel like I'm gonna get a bad rank again, I've gotten so many alerts it's not even funny. It doesn't help I do pacifist runs by nature ( which was ruined when I got to fatman without an M9) so what i end up doing is run around in a box about 80% of the time. Though I did get use to the controls again, so things got easier! Honestly what makes the codec calls so much better is the trigger comments that make you sound like a huge douche, especially during Roses calls ( She was calling about how [sp] Raiden never opens up [/sp] and I pressed the trigger to make Raiden comment "You're beggining to get on my nerves" and I just chuckled at out fitting it was.) Man I really let go when I talk about this :v: I just really love this game and I'm shocked as to why it took me this long to get into it.

They're either missing loops from the game in just about every track or some tracks are just missing altogether; Talk about half-assed.[/QUOTE] Oh my god thank you for finding a version with (most of) the buildup. That was one of my favorite parts about the track was how slow and quiet it was near the beginning where you're just sneaking around the Fury. But once HIS SUIT GETS RIPPED the track gets real bombastic.

I don't think I could pick a favorite or least favorite MGS game, they're all so good.

Christ, I've been checking amazon all week and of course I literally don't check in the last two days and it's already sold out from amazon US, fuck. It doesn't look like any other retailer in the US has started preorders on the CE yet though so think I'll still be able to snag a CE?

I hadn't realized that they were even available on sale yet. I was ready to pre-order on Amazon, thinking it hadn't become purchasable yet when I found out tonight that it's been over a while. To those still looking to order – We are working on having the CE available for pre-order at additional retail partners, so stay tuned![/quote] Why not do both that and restock the existing retailers as well? I'd jump at the chance to preorder at Amazon, and have my auto-notify actually work this time.

I'm going to try gamestop in person when it becomes available there. I heard at the MGS4 midnight release party in LA, they had several different drinks inspired by the characters. I've never been one to go midnight releases but I've always managed to make friends through video games, especially MGS
