They tried doing it with silent hill, they'll try doing it with MGS.

There's a part of me that doesn't believe this because Kojima and Yugioh is all Konami has when it comes to games. Why the fuck would you screw over Hideo fucking Kojima? The things that are confirmed though make me teeter towards this "source" being legit. But if that's the case, where will Kojima go? Will he go indie? Or will he join another company?

Well, in light of today's news I went to this game store near me that has stuff from every era.
They just got a copy of Twin Snakes in, with the sleeve, manual and the disks in good condition. For 30 bucks.
i have a problem I really didn't need this but aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
I just realized if Kojima leaves Konami then that makes Snake's chances of returning to Smash 4 practically nil.

Hey, it's a good game. The debate and hate surrounding it are all just in relation to the original and the changes they made, but on its own I think it's great. Not the best MGS, but worth playing to experience the first game through a more modern lens.

Ha ha nope, I questioned it. Kojima has always said the same kind of shit for every MGS since the second one.

At least for me, though, this one really is the final MGS. I don't care what else they make from here on out. As far as I'm concerned, they aren't canon or related in any way. Even if they turn out to be good somehow, it will always be a separation between "Kojima's MGS" and "Konami's MGS" for me.

Well hey, at this stage it's still just a rumor. Albeit one that's getting stronger by the hour since nobody from the inside is commenting on it. Kojima's Twitter is eerily silent today.
