For whatever reason it is displayed incorrectly as Trove Alpha. I know as I thought I had alpha access because of that too.

I remember playing an Alpha of this a long time ago. It was pretty decent. I still remember how hard I laughed when I figured out it was all made in Flash, and they kept saying they were trying to find a workaround over "not being able to right click"

Is there a Facepunch club? I'm having a blast with this. It reminds me of what Cubeworld with updates would look like, with hints of creative mode Minecraft and Terraria.

I've been playing quite a bit since it hit steam, never played it before now. It's really good! I could make a Facepunch club if there's interest in it. My IGN is BackwardSpy if anyone wants to add me. Level 12 pirate captain.

I ended up making "Facepunch" as a club, because my curiosity as to whether or not it was already taken was overwhelming. You guys can add me in game for an invite, unless anyone else has a better club name. My in-game name is the same as here, Sanjuaro. Though right now I have to wait a half-hour in queue. Still better than some other MMO launches I've played during. :v:

Just a quick heads up: you can only receive invites to clubs if you're online. Hopefully this changes at some point, but I went ahead and made BackwardSpy an officer, so you can try pestering him if I'm offline, and you want an invite.

Some kind person on Facepunch had to register two accounts for me so I could purchase two copies of the game due to all the traffic when Cubeworld went up for sale. I started throwing shit in the club world. I need to mine a fuck ton of infinium in order to expand our area beyond this tiny island. I have one question though, what sort of feel should we go for? We can insert whatever biomes we want into the club world. Mix and match, replace everything, whatever we want. We could have a huge island of the candy world biome, have a winter wonderland, have some normal grassy plains, and so on. Anyone have a preference? Some of the lag seems to have subsided so I'm thinking of throwing 20 dollarydoos at this game and getting the power pack

I was given the option of being a cryoturge and I chose a goddamn faerie, something's wrong with me. This game is pretty great fun, the style and sounds and everything are a joy to experience

So what's the point in fishing? Just collection/getting mastery points or are the fish used as ingredients for other stuff?

Aw, I was just about to play, but apparently there's a three hour maintenance going on. Hopefully they're working on the dreadful queue times. Typically you get a fuck ton of glim, but you can get other materials as well. Also if you happen to catch a rare fish you can get an ancient scale, which you can either sell for a fair chunk of flux to other players, or use to craft fishing rods, or other things at the hub.

Where do I find shadow portals? And why does this huge guy occasionally fall from the sky and attack me?

Shadow portals appear in any uber world, and they appear with some frequency. They aren't labeled in any special way though, you just have to know what they look like. The guy is a shadow golem. I'm convinced he only falls from the sky to kill me when I go AFK to use the restroom.
