One time a Shadow Golem fell near by when I was looking for a way into a Lair and he basically punched a huge hole in it leading right to the boss.
trending things Infiniminer/Minecraft started:

and horrible fanbases.
Alright this one is just completely straight up incorrect. Those've existed for a long while now.
Could I join the Facepunch group? My game name is Lord_Of_Boxes. [editline]14th July 2015[/editline] Fucking Mexican jumping queues can kiss my ass. I was at 11 minutes, now it just keeps going up and down. It's impossible to join.
There's a Facepunch group? Add Coldmute whoever is responsible for that I guess.
There's a Facepunch group? I'll check in from time to time to spam invites to people not currently in the club, and I'll also work on adding more officers to the group so they can do the same. In the meantime if everyone who wants in PMed me with their in-game name then that would make things easier for me. I'm starting to wish we could get the OP updated with current information on both the game, and the Facepunch club.

Then you could see when people are playing Trove.
What if you had everyone who wants to join also join a Steam group? Then you could see when people are playing Trove.
That's a really good idea, actually. Here, have a blast. Queue times will make it difficult to get people in, but we'll get everyone in eventually.
It's pretty obvious that these guys weren't ready for any sort of launch on a major platform like Steam, I played this a few months back and the servers were extremely responsive, and I had no trouble finding a game, I hope they find some way to adjust soon. [sp]Estimated wait time: 406 minutes[/sp]

Giving this a try today. I miss CubeWorld and this looks like it might scratch a similar itch
No matter what my wait time says, I usually get on in 15-20 minutes
Alright this one is just completely straight up incorrect. Those've existed for a long while now.
Yeah, fair point, also hello from 2013 :v: This game still looks fun, though I think it needs some other mobility options other than wings and doublejumps, why can't we get a grappling hook and swing around on shit?
No matter what my wait time says, I usually get on in 15-20 minutes
Yesterday I waited about 30 minutes. At first the queue was 60 minutes. After those 30ish minutes, it was 76 minutes
I've played every day since the game came out on Steam, and gotten through the queue every time. You just have to be patient. The game supports alt-tab fine, I usually just leave it queueing in the background while I do other stuff, then come back to it in ~15-20 minutes at which point I'm usually in/almost in the game. [editline]15th July 2015[/editline] In other news, I finally got to do a shadow arena with 8 people earlier, it was awesome! No good loot though, since it was U1 and I'm a bit over-leveled for that.
I've definitely been enjoying the game, It feels really good for a F2P MMO. Got up to the Uber levels with a Gunslinger, then rolled a Barbarian. The difference in damage is pretty big.
Gunslinger is hilarious
I hopped in the queue earlier, was at about 30 minute wait. After about 30 minutes it was down to 5 minutes. It then jumped to over 50 minutes. Right now, this one started at 35 minutes, and an hour exactly later, it says 2 minutes left, whereas it said less than 1 minute left 10 minutes ago, and I've been below #20 in the queue for that long. I'm currently sitting at #10 in the queue. I'm gonna get in a couple games of splatoon. Hah, it just got rid of the wait timer all together now.
I'm unfortunately dead broke at the moment, and running a low-end laptop with good processing power and RAM, but 64mb integrated graphics. My gaming PC blew up, and chances are I can't afford to repair it for a good, long while. Is it possible to have an enjoyable experience in Trove as a Free to Play user?

From my experience with it, its one of the least offensive free to play games, definitely very giving. I mean, most classes cost 5000 "Cubits" which is basically an ingame currency. The easily completed tutorial stuff, for like the first three or four hours of gameplay, will give like 6000 to 7000 Cubits. And every day for completing enough dungeon quests you get 500 cubits. The most expensive class right now, the Tomb Raiser, is 8000. That's 16 days of just completing a few dungeons a day to get the most expensive class available. There is plenty of paid for stuff like costumes and shit, but the important stuff is easily in reach.

I've had a blast with it without spending a dime. It's also very easy to "party up" with other people, even though there isn't a conventional party system, since you can just instantly teleport to your friends no matter where they are, even across worlds. What are the specs on your laptop? I'm running what is basically a 1.8ghz dual core laptop with 3GB of ram and a radeon HD 4200 and it runs okay as long as my settings are low. Gets pretty stuttery if there's a lot of effects going on, though. As long as your laptop can do better than that, you should be good. If you decide to play, I wouldn't mind helping you out. My ingame name is Sailor Dave. Edit: I should mention that there's been trouble with login queue times since they just recently launched on steam. The queue times aren't a normal thing, and will probably be much better in the next few days, since it's being really focused on by the devs.
Game doesn't run too well on integrated laptop graphics, unfortunately. As for it being good for a free player, most certainly. The paid stuff is all cosmetic items and ways to get items and whatnot a bit faster than if you got it through the in-game currency. Everything that actually matters is achievable through normal play without spending a penny.
Learning the ropes, and I have to say I really like the game design so far. Community seems fun and helpful, too.

Yeah, I went in to it with poor expectations and thinking it wouldn't be very good, but its actually really fun.
What's your IGN? I'll send you an invite to the Facepunch club.
Harnbrand! And thanks.
that said it's been laggy as hell for me today, teleporting and disconnecting all over the place
Started playing this recently, really enjoying it so far(Minus the queue time.) Around level 15 on my Pirate Captain. If someone could invite me to the Facepunch club, that would be great. My in-game name is Dixton.

Been playing as a shadow hunter. The fights are pretty fun but do essentially boil down to: 1. Radiant arrow to initiate 2. Throw down a stun trap while moving backwards and shooting wildly 3. Chip 'em to shit while they're stunned 4. repeat Are the other classes much different?
