this game just fucks my internet connection hardcore if I close it, I can play other stuff just fine if I'm trying to play, I constantly get disconnected from the game and the auth server, my connection will drop entirely and it affects my browser too

The jump shot didn't grant you slowfall, so essentially you would only be in the air for 2-3 seconds before you were on the ground again getting your shit punched in. This caused people to just put a block on a wall, and shoot down at enemies. It's a simple change, but it definitely makes the class much more enjoyable than it used to be.

The devs gave out free 3-day patron, a class change coin, and some other junk to pretty much everyone tonight. I don't know if they'll do it later. I think it's supposed to be compensation for the server stuff.

I just lost like 5 hours to this game. Went from level 1 to 14 pretty fast and have just started Uber 2 (wherein I got a Shadow weapon on my first dungeon)

Also, if you want to see if you got it, go to your character stats and look at the bottom, you'll see an experience boost stat, if that is 50, you've got Patron.

Is there any point in going to higher Uber levels? I understand at 5(?) you can get shadow level 2 items, but what is there to gain from Uber 2-4?

Yeah. I didn't get a Shadow Weapon until Uber 2. My advice for leveling is just solo large dungeons if possible. I seem to be cranking through a level every now and again just by doing that and recipe dungeons.

I have all but three classes at max level, and I find it a pain to do shadow arenas because typically I just get a few crap rainbows or shadows from them. I really don't see them worth the time, or the effort.

Maybe Shadow Towers will give a better payout?

I found the shadow arenas way easier than I expected as well. The loot matches the challenge, i.e slightly higher than a normal dungeon. That said, I have gotten a couple of really nice things from SAs, but it's quite rare. Usually it's just a couple of resplendent items.

Is there a way to pause the game without an escape key ? The one on my laptop's busted and the only reason I am asking this is that the FPS drops to hell when I move a round and such I even used the commands set them to 0 and it didn't help out at all.

If you mean bring up the menu, then I think you can rebind that in the controls. Of course, getting to the controls might be tough without bringing up the menu in the first place, so you might have to dig around the config files a bit.

Also it only writes in there if you change something from the default settings, getting someone who is ingame right now to edit his keys and send you this file would be your best bet if you can't get it to work. I'd do it myself but there is a 30 minute queue right now.

So is it actually worth playing for long? Got some friends with a lot of free time on hands, and we're getting tired of same games.
