shadow hunter and uber 1
So I went and played with the Shadow Hunter for a bit and I have to say that is the worst class I have encountered thus far. Which is to say all except the Knight and Fae Trickster. The damage is atrocious, the health is atrocious, the energy efficiency is atrocious, the abilities are atrocious. There is nothing I like about that class. If you want to use a bow, play the Boomeranger. Vastly more fun, and you can blow up walls and shit freely. And use a melee if you so desire.

I have to say that while I started with the Neon Ninja, I got the Tomb Raiser and that class is absolutely insane, I love that Lich Bitch so much. Keeping your minions up and working ghost form effectively, you are literally unkillable.
Pirate Captain is also decently fun. Boomranger is pretty fun, Neon Ninja is nice. Ice Sage seems alright though I haven't put too much time in to her. Gunslinger is decent but squishy, you literally have to stay airborn to survive boss fights.
well i already made my decision...
well i already made my decision...
Can always change to a different class on the fly. And they're not that expensive. I mean, by the time you hit the Shadow Arena portion of the tutorial, you can afford pretty much any class save for the Tomb Raiser.
if i didnt already just spend all of what i have on an emblem, that is

and im already level 15 so might as well just see SH through

how deep far down does shit save to your cornerstone? i wanna make a basement but not without making sure its gonna save first

is this common?
how deep far down does shit save to your cornerstone? i wanna make a basement but not without making sure its gonna save first
Near as I have been able to determine, it is all the way in either direction. Though given that its not uncommon to find a cornerstone really far down, it may make things a bit weird. But yeah, but what I've seen vertical distance doesn't matter.

Yeah, the queues are standard right now. Since the game hit official launch they have been absolutely slammed with players and have been trying to find ways to fill the demand. Almost every day they've taken the servers down to try to improve the situation. Its better than it was a week ago when it could take several hours to get in at any time.
Wrong thread! :snip:
So now that I've got Arkham Knight, I'm a bit confused on how to do the side missions. I can only save one firefighter, one riddler race, and one strung up corpse and the waypoint's gone. Anyway to progress the side missions?
Well first thing you do is build yourself a house and do some dungeons. They're mostly really easy since it's a very casual game. Be sure to use your mount to get around though, as walking can be slow.

But- Uh- Did you read the same thing I read?

Arkham Knight's lesser known feature was housing. The Batmobile hogged all of the spotlight.
Finally, we have a FINISHED cube-world like game!

I don't know about finished, but it's certainly got a lot more to it and the devs actually care about keeping in touch with the community.
Who else is here just chilling and waiting for the maintenance to be over

When you come to realization you're too addicted.
I wonder if this is against ToS

Wanted to try the game, 30 minutes queue? That's kinda a lot..
Number 1 in queue, all of a sudden error and shutdown of client.
Yeah, no. I am not playing a loading screen.

Bear with it and try again later. Game is very much worth it.
The queue is particularly bad again at the moment because the servers just came up again after a >6 hour downtime for an update.

In other news, I finally got around to building something better than a box for my cornerstone.

Features a basement for portals, a ground floor for crafting benches, and an upstairs for furniture and trophies.
The chimney is accessible from all floors and doubles as a flight booster.
i finally got my free class coin and bought tomb raiser, yeah fuck SH this already seems way better to be playing, i had to do so much dodging and shit to stay alive, and now all the aggro is just staying on my summons

And further, you can hit all enemies around you instead of a few in a short distance in front, meaning you get to receive massive amounts of healing from many sources. In fact, you're liable to survive better if you throw yourself in to a crowd of enemies in ghost than anywhere else.
Tomb King is Solo-Dungeon MVP.
Seriously, yesterday I took him from level 1 to level 12 in like 30-45 minutes just soloing large dungeons in like 2 minutes each, and any small ones that got in my way in about 45 seconds, it's insane.
Throw out 3 minions, recharge 1 soul while you kill a dude, throw out 2 more, fight some more dudes while ghosting so your AOE heal/damage keeps your minions up long past expiry date, run into boss room, throw out 2-3 more, SLAM ULT: 7+ MINION GIGA-BONES JR. Watch as he like 2-3 punches boss solo, maybe throw out more little guys to deal with mob spawns. Easy loot.
Plus you got that spooky cloak.
Actually you are capped at 6 minions. Any more and it removes the oldest minion.
Also, its not just a cloak, its a full robe, and you are literally a Lich. The Tomb Raiser is one of the most dangerous things in fantasy.

Anything involved with skeletons tends to be the most dangerous thing in fantasy
Huh, didn't know about the cap. Still, it's fun taking the big guy and then a load of little guys and re-rolling them into a little-big guy.
you shouldnt be able to fucking draw aggro while sitting in your cornerstone, im tired of taking a break there for a couple of minutes, come back and some fuck killed me

if you log in within like the next 3 minutes or something, you automatically get in
Just a heads up to anyone playing Tomb Raiser: Your class can solo absolutely anything in the game.
Once you get enough cubits, buy a bandolier flask (which will put you at 18 or 20+ depending on your mastery/patron.
Buy two emblems: The one that fully refills your energy on use of a flask and the one that doubles your magic damage on the use of a flask.
Rotation: Spawn all minions (spawn a 3 minion ult if you're single targetting), use your ghost ability and hold down your base attack, then when your energy gets close to 0 press Q to use a flask, which doubles your magic damage and keeps you in ghost mode.
This is a constant 90% damage reduction, double magic damage build that can literally solo anything. With patron + mastery level I have a total of 22 flasks and can solo a Sky Realm mob at level 20.
I chose Neon Ninja with my free class token. Am I missing out by not choosing Boomeranger?
Favorite class so far is the pirate
It does not take much time at all to amass enough cubits to buy another class. I wouldn't worry about it too much! All the classes are pretty fun in their own way.
My most recent acquisition is the fae trickster. I hated it at first, but as I got better equipment and learned how to play it more effectively, I'm actually really enjoying it.
I've never seen so much flux in one place before. :sax: All thanks to a rare mount drop from a chaos chest.
