Alright, so I managed to pull my head out of my ass and record some voices on my school issue macbook. I fixed my room's acoustics by throwing a blanket over my head, and despite half the tools in soundbooth not working, I took out the white noise. Sword, arrow... axe... ...you know what, fuck it." you can make this work to your favor. I don't imagine enchanted item salesmen get a whole lot of business in a land where basically nobody has more than 30-50 gold at any given time. He should just be constantly pissed. It would give him a lot of character, compared to the average "finest weapons and armor" trash vendor. Also, there are a lot of people who want to make 'crazy' characters. I suggest someone add in an insane asylum, so they're not freakin' everywhere. I'm taking a look at the town in the editor now, and dayum, this place is gorgeous
Well that last bit was added in accidentally. It was a blooper to put it best. But, I do see where you are getting at.

Oh, and here's a quick background I've written up for the character, Martin: Wood Elf named Aengoth Arril. Doesn't have much talent and mostly sells cheapo, easy as fuck to make shit (in other words, iron daggers), but occasionally has a flash of (mad?) inspiration that allows him to create something truly useful. He's highly excitable, but also gets frustrated very easily. For quite a while his business in Luftahraan has been going badly, and that's left him more than a bit pissed off at it all. He's just about to quit his job when the player makes his first purchase, resulting in him going back to being giddy as fuck and shit at finally getting some business. [editline]25th February 2012[/editline] Oh yeah, and I've love to work in a system where the longer you go without buying from him, the more he slips back into being frustrated as fuck, forcing out his cries, etc.

I suggest everyone add a marker of some kind (highly visible, there are probably items for markers in the editor itself) to the roof of whatever house they've edited, with their name and the location (e.g. "Cooper's Shop, Sector 7") as the name of the marker

I remember that some of the vanilla merchant had merchant Ai package, but i can be mistaken too.
Could I voice a half black half white citizen, that want's you to quest for his white mother and kill the people who killed his black father? I think that'd be kinda neat. . .
