Thanks.

Do you guys have a village idiot yet? :v:
I can do custom models and get them into the game if anyone needs them.
We really should have a list of characters in the op to go along with the actors voicing them.

Excellent! Can you put the files up somewhere for me?
I figured PredatorKing was working with my character I.E. topics.
Yeah, Aengoth's completely dicked up in terms of dialogue. I'm hoping that putting some actual audio in will fix the issue, but if it doesn't, I've got no idea how to solve it.

A Txt of what I have so far. feel free to steal it.
Edit: could be adapted to be an ingredient for truepaint that your getting, but I am having real life obligations so this is all I can do.
Mind if I have a shot at editing that a bit?
Nope
Outcast_X requested these lines around page 6. Everyone is out of the house and my cold is negligible, so I am able to deliver.

That laugh was a lot of fun.
Oh god, that last line and laugh. The Leader of the city shouldn't speak to the player until they can befriend his total asshole steward, who gives the player really shitty quests like going to really out of the way places to get really normal items for the steward, who's voiced with your last voice.
Not sure if anyone's suggested it yet but maybe you can talk to one of the creators of either these mods to see if you can use of their armors for the guards. They aren't exactly lore breaking and they look nice.

Hey VA's, all of you could do with some noise reduction on your files.
The built in noise reduction feature in audacity is great for this; just make sure you have some pure static that you can sample.
This is me without noise reduction, doing some sort of british voice i presume:

this is with noise reduction.

The quality is a bit better and with a low impact on my voice. That's pretty neat.
[editline]27th February 2012[/editline]
Who's editing?
Do ya require a Danish-accented voice for anything? I could record some samples when I get home if that is.
Mind if I have a shot at editing that a bit?
Indeed, I would love it in fact.
Added some custom content (that won't show up because I don't know how to actually pack files)

Yes. But won't take long.

Sounds amazing but volume seems to be a bit low.
I tried to mesh all the plot ideas into one. I don’t know:
So what if we had the Sovereign king be simply a figurehead during the time of the gameplay. The psyker acts as his advisor, constantly feeding him lies and poisoning him little by little. The people of Luftarahaan know that something is happening to their once benevolent king but the KGB Police of Luftarahaan prevent them from having free discussions. Everyday the police ransack homes and market stalls, confiscate goods, harass the citizens, and at night someone goes missing. The guards are helpless to stop the actions of the police; they can only stand by and watch. The psyker uses this police force to keep order and to keep fear instilled on the citizens. Eventually, the player comes. The requests an audience with the king and is told by the psyker to do some menial tasks. After these tasks are completed, the player returns to the psyker. Before entering the building, assassins come from around the castle. The assassins have no notes. You enter the castle and you witness the king sitting on his throne. The king’s skin is deathly grey, his hair matted, and drool hangs from the corner of his mouth. The psyker is nowhere to be found, and trying to initiate a conversation with the king leads to the king saying “…”
At this point the player should go and try to find the psyker. You sneak around and find the psyker in a dusty, abandoned wing of the castle. The psyker appears to be having a conversation with a shadowy entity. You begin to hear words like “poison, the king, and the nine.” The psyker then notices you and turns around to stab you. You quickly finish him off, and looting him gives you a note. A starting revelation occurs. The psyker was just a pawn in a grand conspiracy. The note doesn’t reveal much though, only a few details about the psyker’s role, and a single name at the bottom. The KGB Police start to come and you have to escape. Luckily, there’s a lever that opens up a hidden door. You enter the sewers of the castle and emerge in the undergrounds of Luftarahaan. You witness people asking mages about the dwenmer tower and you hear rumors of strange sounds coming out of it. You emerge from the underground world and begin to search for any information regarding the name you found on the letter.
This leads you to the king’s evicted nephew. He would be found drunk in a tavern or bar, but revealing the note enrages the “stranger.” The “stranger” is the king’s evicted nephew, who was thrown out of the castle and hunted down by the police. He tells you that the name is that of a mage who lives nearby the city walls. (The nephew however asks you if you wish to join him in a rebellion. This would cause you to recruit some members into your cause, and etc.) You find the mage is out of town and you break into his home. You find a journal that shows the true nature of the conspiracy. There are nine members of this conspiracy, each with the same goal: to weaken the king enough that his soul would be able to be extracted. The king’s useless body would then be used for the body of an ancient, forgotten god. The plans were near fruition.
This leads to a questline where you are forced to hunt down all nine members (each member would have his own quest, and it would be like 4 quest each member). For example, finding the member, say named Tiberius, would involve you intercepting a letter that was to be sent to Tiberius, from there you would find that the letter was sent by a man named (Blank). Then you would find (Blank) and brawl with him to get the location of Tiberius. Then you would head to kill Tiberius, which would result in a chase seen. Killing Tiberius then leads you to find another note, revealing the next member of the
conspiracy.
All the while, your actions cause more and more notice amongst the KGB Police. Assassins come more often, each time more heavily armed. As you dive deeper into the conspiracy, more and more death threats are sent. Eventually, it culminates into you enter the dwenmer tower, heading to the very bottom, killing the three members of the conspiracy, and killing the king/god to save the king.
Yeah, my microphone has crappy range.
Sound quality is decent though, when you can hear it, that is.

Yes, I agree, it's great and the voice was great too. If you have audacity there are ways to up the volume with minimal quality impact.

I liked the vampire king idea, but that sounds good. Maybe there can be some rich secretive guy in town who is a vampire and has a small side quest line.
But this is politically more kowloon, this in in no-mans-land and ruled by the most rich/powerfull.
Fucking hell, looks like the only way to properly pack custom content is by uploading to the Workshop. :|
Name it something terrible, like ~~sup3rpr0 headshotbuff-waifu mod~~ and give it some random shit clipart from deviantart.
Bingo, nobody will download it.
It fills me with joy to announce that I'm finished with the exterior! I will test it out in-game to make sure it looks natural; if it's ok with you, I will continue editing and make a nav-mesh. Otherwise I'll upload it.
I was planning on navmeshing the market, making cookie work, and doing some more house interiors when I get home, but if you want to navmesh it, be my guest.
