But this is politically more kowloon, this in in no-mans-land and ruled by the most rich/powerfull.
Maven has about as much influence over Riften as the Jarl, so Riften is still a better fit.
I was planning on navmeshing the market, making cookie work, and doing some more house interiors when I get home, but if you want to navmesh it, be my guest.
I already began navmeshing the entrance a couple of days ago, might as well finish. I'll do as much as I can.
Maven has about as much influence over Riften as the Jarl, so Riften is still a better fit.
But still, Riften is part of the Skyrim nation and it's governed by the jarl.
Navmeshing is chugging along fine, about 30% complete.
Does the PUB have (full)navmesh?
Does the PUB have (full)navmesh?
Still doing exterior, it's not even started. If you want me I can do it right now, i'll presume it'll only take me like 5-10 minutes.
Go ahead.
I presume the pub is the koskenkorva something? [editline]27th February 2012[/editline] Uh, someone already started. Mind if I delete that? it's very split-up [editline]27th February 2012[/editline] talking about this.
Well, delete that.
I took the liberty and did; in general, you want to avoid having starburst navmesh patterns. It's unavoidable at some points, but it's easier for the engine to compute if you try to keep yourself to a rectangular pattern. [editline]27th February 2012[/editline] You'd want to limit yourself to five connections to one vertex. [editline]27th February 2012[/editline] 4, even.
In a little while I think I'll make a shop... I see a lot of buildings without interiors.. Can I use any of these, or do I need to put my own building down?
In a little while I think I'll make a shop... I see a lot of buildings without interiors.. But i reserved a house and have yet to put a marker on it, I'll do that when I'm finished editing.

I want to get a head start on my shop while you've got the file and I want to make sure that I didn't pick the one you've claimed. Edit: This is the house I was thinking of using for my shop:
Sure, Noone's taken that as of yet, but it's a big house, so make sure you fill it with loadsa content; as for editing, you'll have to wait for me to finish.

That way I don't take up too much time. When you finish editing I'll just put the door down though so nobody does anything with it in the meantime
Next time when i edit, i'll work on exterior. So we can then finally do the LOD.

[editline]27th February 2012[/editline] Btw oskutin I finished the bar Navmesh a while ago.

[editline]27th February 2012[/editline] Btw oskutin I finished the bar Navmesh a while ago.
I'm not using the entire connected house-- just the SFarmhouse02 bit. I figured the connected part was one of those buildings that shares a wall but is a separate, unconnected room.
The dude could live upstairs.
I'm done for today, jesus that's a lot of navmeshing. [editline]27th February 2012[/editline] Shit forgot to add a reservation marker to the house I will use...eh i'll do that tomorrow or something. [editline]27th February 2012[/editline] http://filesmelt.com/dl/uusimaa8.esp changelog -exteriors = 100% -exterior navmeshing = 40% -pub now fully navmeshed, finalized even so just add actors and such. -moved some stalls and actors to fit with the new ground; no drastical changes.
I'll take the file now - It'll be quick
Waiting for it.
I'll be done soon :P Testing now -- I expect to be done within 10 mins Edit: Done http://filesmelt.com/dl/uusimaa9.esp Changelog: -Added the Slimy Sweetroll, a candy shop. Not done, but a good start.
We need a general trader. Do we have 3 bakerys now? :v:
someone should make a video of just walking through the city (even if it isnt close to being done) might give people a better perspective of it
We need a general trader. Do we have 3 bakerys now? :v:
I think 2 actually. Anyways, I was thinking I might add a secret trapdoor to cookie's basement, with a few bodies chopped up Sweeney Todd style.
maybe use a website and the google maps api to "tag" houses people are working on from an aerial photo
maybe use a website and the google maps api to "tag" houses people are working on from an aerial photo
use the image in the OP [img_thumb]http://www.1337upload.net/files/cityV3_PLAN.png[/img_thumb]
You can also add locations and details to that area.
