People can help out by getting screenshots of mountains or ruins. Pretty stuff people would hang in their houses.
Wow, I never actually noticed the lack of paintings... Makes some sense, though.
We'll have to fix that. I might be able to work up a low-poly frame with a baked normal map. Would you be interested?
Yeah, as long as it looks just decent. Paintings dont need more than a simple wood frame.

I finalized some navmesh in the city in order for my farmer NPC (hugo) to be able to walk from his farm and into the pub.
When the "beta" is released for public use, will a bsa be required? If so, well piss, I have trouble installing any bsa mods whatsoever. :saddowns:

Doesn't the BSA contain all custom models, textures etc. ?
If so then most likely. ( Voice lines, armor, banner textures.. etc. )
noooooooooo
[editline]9th March 2012[/editline]
I'll figure out something. I've gotten some mods to work when listing the appropriate bsas under archive, but then the esps are somehow broken.
Funnily enough that doesn't work for me, but thanks for the advice anyways.

There are freely available tools that allow you to extract the contents of BSAs, I think one comes with the Nexus Mod Manager (I know, ew as fuck, but hey, it's an option).
Thanks, I think I'll try that.

Editing
Done!
+Added interior to small house.
+Worked with undercity.
http://www.1337upload.net/files/4luftahraan.zip
Also there's many finished interiors which needs characters.
-snip-
Can someone confirm which interiors need characters? I'm currently compiling a list of characters and possible quests based on all of the ideas presented in the thread so far.
I'm thinking about editing in about 30minutes..
So you guys are talking about empty houses.
Is it enough if I just create various characters/families to live in these houses and give them routines and thats it ?
Of course we would let anybody create quests based on these characters and such.
Of course. Sounds great.
in one week's time I'll be able to join in and contribute a lot of time
Should I post my character list now or wait until there's more activity in the thread? I also haven't really added any quests yet, but I've hinted at what I'm aiming for in their short descriptions.

I'll be making new NPC's in just a minute so I don't see why not.
If you won't then I'll just make characters my self.

How diverse are the people living in luftahraan ?
Alright, here's the stuff I've come up with so far:
Waylas Ruuz - Redguard pub owner
Iszara Ruuz - wife, also sells food and produce in the marketplace
Amren Ruuz - youngest son
Sherina Ruuz - older daughter
M'raaj-Dar - Khajiit pirate who desires to marry Sherina
Thetrard - young Breton bard
Pilus Goldwine - Imperial baker
Keel-Raniur - Argonian baker (F)
Siddgeir Fire-Tamer - teacher of Keel-Rainur and Pilus, apprentices split the business once he retired, wishes to see the two as friends again
Aengoth - Dunmer merchant who's the worst in the business
Erundil - disgruntled Thalmor agent
Sovereign Helseth Othrenim - Luftahraan leader/Dunmer/vampire
Agronak - fierce Orc city guard leader, head of the Luftahraan "gestapo"
Olfeigr - Nord (F) head of the regular city guard, wishes to stop the oppression caused by Agronak
Jocien Northwode - (Breton, middle-aged) Boethiah cult leader
Valund the Younger - (Nord) Zenithar cult leader, father was original founder of the city's temple
Cavortius the Mad - aging Imperial beggar with multiple personalities, one of a fearless warrior, the other of a spineless noble
Marlena - (F, Imperial) blind beggar who some claim can tell the future
Dreekius - (Argonian) paranoia filled sneak who has filled his brain with every single rumor whispered in Luftahraan, and counting; also does the occasional pickpocket
Yadba Khashnar - Orc protector of the underground beggars, claims to have once been chief of an orc stronghold and that he was kicked out unlawfully
Erundil - (Atmer) old wizard locked up in the prison, claims to not be from our timeline..
Ghoragdush Murgol - aging orc blacksmith
Beran Yeomsley - balding Breton with a fixation for books, owns a book shop which has every book available in Tamriel, has recently gotten a book that may have been created by Boethiah and whose events may end up happening int he city of the one owning it
Evette - (Nord, F) widow of Thjollod, may or may not also be blackmailed by the Dark Brotherhood
Thjollod - (Nord) apparently dead husband of Evette
Ruki - daughter of Evette and Thjollod
Sirrolus Carvain - Imperial ambassador coming to the city to gather support for the Empire, true intentions lie in excavating the Dwemer ruins below for a weapon that could possibly crush the Stormcloak rebellion
And also:
Osmo -The pontikka maker.
Alright, here's the stuff I've come up with so far:
Hey, the more the merrier.
cant have a fantasy game without time travel i suppose.
The thing I had in mind was that he would be an older version of the court mage's unborn son, and the player would have to help the court mage escape Luftahraan to ensure the existence of the son, seeing as the leader of the city has no more need of him. You would also need to help the old wizard escape as well, because his own father has created a magical barrier to imprison him. Idk, I think it would be p unique compared to a lot of other vanilla quests available.
Someone should make traveling merchant(s) and his/her storage.
That merchant should travel between every major city.
