[B]DONE EDITING[/B] This edit failed miserably. Almost nothing worked. It would be totally understandable and almost recommended if you would just skip this edit actually but w/e I'll post what I did and what didn't work and DL link and such -Created Broris Rivroath and Meralyn Rivorath and put them into luftahraanhouse1 -Gave them routines, they sleep, cook, eat, sweep, hang around in house, market place and pub. -Created Osmo the Pontikka brewer -Gave him routines like sleep, read, eat, work his mushroom garden etc. Things that didn't work: -Meralyn didn't eat breakfast or go to sleep, she just hangs around at the cooking pot (talk about stereo type) -Marketplace seems a bit dull, NPC's don't talk to each other and people don't seem to wander very far. (Not sure how to fix this) -I tried to make Thetrard the Bard. Failed miserably, I don't have a clue on how to create a bard and make him perform songs in inns and accept song requests and such. -I tried making osmo go to the market place and sell pontikka on sundays. He doesn't leave his cave for some reason. (this could be fixed by making the entrance to his cave not be in the sewers but in the exterior) DL: [url]http://www.mediafire.com/?wzfduqbe6rd764l[/url]
You did good work, those can be (easily) fixed later. [editline]10th March 2012[/editline] And i don't think that Osmo's cave's location does affects it. [editline]10th March 2012[/editline] Thats just same what happens to me when i'm doing complex logical systems in source. Thousands of edits and tests and then to realize that only a small thing is missing. [editline]10th March 2012[/editline] I just tested this properly and saw that nearly every character have bugs. [editline]10th March 2012[/editline] We'll need to set up something for better management.
[B]Editing.[/B] [editline]11th March 2012[/editline] Managed Osmo to visit his stall and to sell goods. But for some reason he instantly leaves his stall... [editline]11th March 2012[/editline] [B]Done![/B] Fixed Osmo, now he sells pontikka every day from 8pm to 12pm. [url]http://www.1337upload.net/files/Luft.zip[/url] [editline]11th March 2012[/editline] Reason was probably conflicting AI packages.
Are you guys alright with me DLing this just to mess around ingame and come up with quest ideas which I will then fire off at random in the thread?
I haven't been keeping up because I've been working a 40 hour week at BK, but maybe sometime soon I can grab that file and do some work.
So, I've got a few of my buds interested in doing some VA stuff. They'll be making accounts and introducing themselves (one for sure, another maybe) in a couple days. As far as my theatre group goes, I can't keep them in one place to address them all. I'll be making posters and hanging them up in the green room. Otherwise, I'll probably talk to some one by one.
Iv'e started writing up a quest involving cannibalism and necromancy. Interested?
Yes.
If noone else is, I could edit. [editline]11th March 2012[/editline] [B]editing[/B]
[QUOTE=zeldar;35078425]Hey, the more the merrier. The thing I had in mind was that he would be an older version of the court mage's unborn son, and the player would have to help the court mage escape Luftahraan to ensure the existence of the son, seeing as the leader of the city has no more need of him. You would also need to help the old wizard escape as well, because his own father has created a magical barrier to imprison him. Idk, I think it would be p unique compared to a lot of other vanilla quests available.[/QUOTE] Hate to be a nag, but could you include some of my character concepts as well? What I've written amounts to little more than sample lines, but hey. I'd appreciate it if you were to edit your info on Aengoth Arril to match what's already been written, as well. Added to OP.
Next i could try to make Pub keeper to sell drinks and rooms. Or make the Kekkonen clan. Or something else.
All the NPCS are duplicated. Anyone mind telling me why? [editline]11th March 2012[/editline] Like not even in the editor but in-game.

[url]http://filesmelt.com/dl/Luftahraan1.esp[/url] -Added paintervendor actor. I need paintings :( -fixed some navmeshing issues and finalized some cells. -played around with artist's house interior -edited some packages.

Ruuzs could run the pub in the underground?
Well I can't imagine the citizens are completely cut off from the outside world seeing as Luftahraan is a good trading spot and the Empire may be looking to expand anyways. Some citizens would look to the Empire for bringing order to the city while others believe that they will strangle the city as a whole, etc. [editline]11th March 2012[/editline] oskutin, I was thinking that Ruuz could own the pub in the actual city itself. Despite the fact that he chose the worst city possible to move to with his family, he still wants the best for them.
Well I was thinking that not everyone had to be terrible, like the local farmer sacrificing babies to Molag Bal or Osmo being a rapist or something. Just that most of the population would be sleazy and the others would have nowhere else to go since any citizens of Luftahraan are banned from all the other holds. [editline]11th March 2012[/editline] The bar fight can be altered and doesn't necessarily have to happen because of the two warring sides, but the Imperial ambassador thing can still work as long as he isn't trying to garner support but instead just wants access to the Dwemer ruins.
Moonshine pontikka be illegal in the Empire as skooma is. Maybe thats why he lives in his small cave.
[QUOTE=zeldar;35092664]Sweet, got anyone yet who can do a good old woman impression? Doing so right now while also adding some quests.[/QUOTE] I can do old lady pretty good, just not right now, as I'm sick as a dog. I can also do khajiit and I have a female friend who wants to help with ant female voices.

But there might be one on the 2nd island and other in the undergrounds. Also, Luftahraan is city of opportunity :v: [editline]11th March 2012[/editline] [QUOTE=Oicani Gonzales;35093278]It's more that it's in their own interests to be cut off from the outside world when they're in Luftahraan. 98% of the people there are there because they would probably not be very welcome anywhere else for being pirates, necromancers, murderers, you name it. An idea I had was that we could somehow tell a background story - maybe through books - on some of the citizens. An example would be the friendly baker that in his youth was a serial killer or some shit.[/QUOTE] Well, i think that Luftahraan isn't in that bad state. Basically most of the people are just pirates, corrupted, doing illegal bussineses (Like slaves in the deep mines) and just poor or they're just refuges. So active murderers and others would have troubles with guards.
Maybe Waylas could own the marketplace one? It would be close enough for his wife to go and sell food every now and then. I'm thinking that we might be having too much of everything. If there are indeed two extra pubs, they should be converted to book stores or general trading shops. The alchemy shop could be owned by a necromancer.
Isn't corrupted place really bad place, with guards doing what ever they want? [editline]11th March 2012[/editline] Riften was enough bad reputed place in Skyrim, and it just had thieves.
Well, if someone had enough time, they could edit the voice lines in a major city a little bit, to where you can tell people don't talk about it much, and the guards shut them down for talking about it, much like talking about the forsworn in Markarth.
If we actually get a working arena in this we need a quest line about how all the fights are rigged. Have Crito Mercius be frustrated at how it's all giant sham and that he is unable to do anything about it due to the fact that the people responsible for rigging it are keeping an eye on him. Perhaps he could slip you a note after your first match.

And also someone always bribing guards.

Well to be fair the only people who mention other cities in usual conversation are the guards, albeit rarely. [QUOTE=Some Jerk;35093798]If we actually get a working arena in this we need a quest line about how all the fights are rigged. The final arena could also be in the Dwemer ruins. The player's success in the arena could be attracting more and more spectators, eventually forcing them to move into the ruins for more space and to make the fight more dramatic. Then the quest would end with everyone fleeing from the Dwarven machines. :v:
I know. Let's get all exteriors done in the Luftahraan region. [editline]11th March 2012[/editline] Marked every known location on Luftahraan region. [img]http://www.1337upload.net/files/moppi.png[/img] [editline]11th March 2012[/editline] If you add something to the region, mark it on the map.
