We could try multibounds and occluders and LOD. [editline]12th March 2012[/editline] Editing

I'll upload the .NIF once I figure that out. For now, here's the .Blend file. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4010779/Model%20Files/Fall%20Forest%20Frame.blend
Edit the texture a bit, make it look more painted.
Nevermind the actual picture, just give me the .dds and i'll make it myself. Altho the wood textures could use slight enhancing.

I'm not that great at UV texturing... Although, to be fair, it doesn't look nearly as hideous as some of Bethesda's textures. Anyway, if you can handle the textures, that gives me more time to work on the meshes. What say you? EDIT: Actually, I'll just give you guys the .obj files for the models, and one of you can handle the textures. I can't figure out how to import a texture into nifskope, but I'm sure one of you knows how. FILES: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4010779/Model%20Files/Fall%20Forest%20Frame.obj http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4010779/Model%20Files/roundframe.obj http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4010779/Model%20Files/Squareframe.obj Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance, I've never really done anything like this before. I mainly stick to beauty renders and such. Feel free to use these if you want. If not, it's not a big deal.

Also
but simply desires to escape this horrible city
I thought everyone's done a pretty good job so far.
Can't you give me a NIF and a DDS? I can handle the rest
I can give the NIF, but I have absolutely no idea how to handle the DDS, since I've never used that format for anything before.
In next edit someone could add occluders and multibounds. [editline]12th March 2012[/editline] And where did the new contributors go again?
uh how did you make the texture
The texture is stored in the .blend file, and I don't know how to export it to .dds.
uh how did you make the texture
You dont HAVE to make .dds if you're just slapping together a UV and diffuse.
I put a little creek painting ingame. The lighting made the picture glare too bright when looking at it head on. It was probably just the lighting in breezehome though. I'm sure I saw some shininess modifiers in nifskope so no problem either way. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/OS0q3.jpg[/img_thumb] Does anyone know where I can find the elf/orc head models? I've got all the races except the elves and orcs. Finishing the eyepatches will be a bitch without them.

The worst part of Skyrim modelling is dealing with nifskope. Once you get that part down, you can pump out models no problem. I've watched a couple Youtube tutorials to get comfortable with it. Please, experiment and play with it so we can get Luftahraan looking swag as hell.

If you need any help in that regard, just ask. You'll have to do all the textures and Nifskopes and whatnot yourself.
Sure thing. If you make any models feel free send them my way and I can convert them to a .nif with textures and whatnot.
Woah now dude, Aengoth is still completely butchered, and you've added in only one of the characters I listed, while taking out everything interesting about him. And I have to say, I'm really not fond of the quest you wrote up for Aengoth, or how it relates to the Luftahraan arena.
I apologize if you thought I was going to elaborate more on the character, because what I'm mostly doing at the moment is creating a character and quest database of everything suggested so far along with adding some of my own ideas. I did add your beggar and announcer characters though. Right now I admit that the quests I've put up aren't particularly stellar in the writing department, but are mainly composed of some fun stuff that I would've liked to have seen in Skyrim. Honestly I think you're better for the job of creating the more elaborate story-driven quests, so I'll add your quest to Aengoth and try to think of a better way for the player to be introduced to the arena. I hope that you'll help improve any of the other quest ideas that will be added to the list. :)
I feel like we need a "Mad Scientist" quest. An inventor does something stupid, puts the town in danger, and needs you to fix it. I'll keep developing the idea, see what I can think up.
An inventor would be pretty interesting. Perhaps someone who needs the player to delve into the Dwemer ruins and get some parts for his latest creation?
With the lack of good hats, I want to try a piratey hat. Unsure if I should go with the original cartoonish looking pirate hat or some kind of Jack Sparrow-ish one. Though the feathers may pose an issue being static, I'm kinda sold on this: [img_thumb]http://www.halloweenmart.com/media/core/PIRATE_HAT_BLACK_SILVER_ADULT_CH60179S.jpg[/img_thumb] Look at that suave fucker.

Cover his face with your thumb and you can focus on the hat more.
I was blinded by his duckface. I'll try a simple leather triangular hat first.
You call that a hat? It needs to be taller. And bigger. And decorated with miniature hats.
I'm a little rusty, haven't played tf2 in forever.

You significantly changed the very idea idea behind him, and even his race. At the very least, include a link to my file on him. In any case, don't tie up the arena with unrelated quests. It simply doesn't make sense from either a gameplay or story perspective to force the player to faff around with something that has nothing to do with the arena in order to get in.
http://www.1337upload.net/files/5Luftahraan.zip +Made interior for random bandit/mercenary group.
Who is going to edit.
Well I took a spiritual journey and realized I can't model for shit. Woolio, would you be up for doing a hat? Just a Caribbean one like this:
Finally got around to doing some of the normal maps, Still need to merge it with some parts of the original normal map but I like how the plates turned out. [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/2012-03-10_000041.jpg[/t] Thoughts?
Err why do you have arrows all over you.
