Err why do you have arrows all over you.
I uhh, cleaned up, Nazeem and for some reason instead of thanking me the guards fired barrages of arrows at me and I stole a horse and ran all the way to Riften.
Well I took a spiritual journey and realized I can't model for shit. Woolio, would you be up for doing a hat? Just a Caribbean one like this:
I can try to make the hat, but I can't guarantee anything other than a fancy noise map for the textures. And you'll have to take the .blend file and convert it yourself, because I've no idea how to do that. But if you want a hat mesh, I can do a hat mesh.
I'm using 3dsMax so a .blend file won't be easy for me. Could you just export a .obj or something similar? I can attempt to whip up a decent looking texture if need be. Also I messed with collisions so more but no luck. Looks like the easiest (but most time consuming) way is to use the collision planes in the CK.

I could make the arena next time i'll edit.
Oskutin, was it you that made the town logo with the sword? Could I get a clean version of it for the guard shields? EDIT: Oicani, how 'bout it?
I could make the arena next time i'll edit.
Oh shit, now I can record my lines!
Oskutin, was it you that made the town logo with the sword? Could I get a clean version of it for the guard shields?
Oicani Gonzales made it.
The elite (KGB) guards should have different logo on their shields. [editline]13th March 2012[/editline] Or maybe no shields at all. [editline]13th March 2012[/editline] Or robes, or peasant clothes.
I feel like we need a "Mad Scientist" quest. An inventor does something stupid, puts the town in danger, and needs you to fix it. I'll keep developing the idea, see what I can think up.
There is a Dunmer scientist who only ever leaves his house once or so a week, but only to get supplies from the market. Upon interacting with him he will just say "I don't have any time, i'm sorry." or something and run off. You can follow him and enter his house or talk to whoever he brought food from to start the quest. Upon entering his home there is soul gems and scrap metal everywhere. His home looks abandoned but there is a door in a wardrobe or under some jugs or something. Upon going down to the basement you see something along the lines of: Or maybe larger, attached to a wall. If modeling to difficult could just used an enhanced centurion. Upon entering the scientist freaks out, if you can calm his he will tell you what he needs to further his knowledge. You enter some nearby ruins and need to recover a super lexicon or something. once you give it to him and he fits the device and does some procedures he activates the robot. He then laughs manically and tells you that he doesn't care about the Dwemer, he just wants revenge on someone for some horrible thing. Maybe the jarl/ruler of the city had punished him and sentenced him to be forced to do science stuff, and the scientist thinks the best way to get revenge is to destroy the city the ruler worked so hard to build. You can just kill the scientist then and there, but if you don't he will run outside, try to command the robot and get incinerated. Either the robot stays, fires lasers and generally wreaks havoc on the townsfolk (the perfect time for spawning bucket loads of pointless ncp's as cannon fodder.), Eventually leading to you destroying the robot and saving the day. Yay. Or, the robot leaves the city with no purpose and heads towards Solitude/Tamriel (because solitude may be to close.) to destroy things it has vague memories of. Now you have two choices, fight the robot now, or get help before things go really bad. Say you were the arch-mage of the college or harbinger of the companions, maybe listener of the Dark Brotherhood. Practically small armies at you disposal. If you were the thane of a town then maybe you could convince the jarl to send a few men. Doing this makes the fight easier, but the death toll will be higher. In the end of both situations the robot explodes and flaming metal falls, followed by the robots head. Containing something awesome. Just a first idea, what do you think? [editline]13th March 2012[/editline] I just need an awesome name.
I'm just about done with the shield. What colour would be best? Red would be good for obvious reasons but Solitude already uses it. That doesn't really stop us as like 3 towns use a blue-ish colour but still, we won't be ~¤Original¤~.
brown perhaps? might look nice
I just need an awesome name.
Animunikhan?
Animunikhan?
I think he means a name for the quest. Something like "Ex Machina" would be too cliched. How about "Fetching Revenge"?
When did I say anything about elaborating on him? You significantly changed the very idea idea behind him, and even his race. At the very least, include a link to my file on him. In any case, don't tie up the arena with unrelated quests. It simply doesn't make sense from either a gameplay or story perspective to force the player to faff around with something that has nothing to do with the arena in order to get in.
All I did was paraphrased your idea a lot to make more room for more characters. I'm checking my current notepad file of the list and the only thing significantly different from your original idea is his race actually..? I thought he was Dunmer, but I guess I recalled incorrectly. I get your point about the arena quest when looking back on it. I'll try to think of some better ways to get the player involved with that part of town if no one beats me to the punch. :v: [editline]13th March 2012[/editline] Does Dreynos Indaram sound good for a Dunmer mad scientist? I'm currently adding him to the list. Btw I'm sorry if it seemed like I was trying to alter your character. Just got my lore mixed up and was also adding some other characters when I hurriedly added yours as well.

Voiceacting if anyone needs a spare voiceactor. I need something to do this week

But in any case, I really don't think you should be worrying about names at this point in time. All you really need is to give your characters a basic archtype and then sum them up quickly. No reason to force something upon the modders, especially not when it comes to a potentially symbolic as hell topic like the names of the characters.

You should match their color scheme to that of the normal in-game iron shields, though. It'll make them fit in much more. Also, the unpainted edges look white, when they should probably be wood-colored.
http://www.1337upload.net/files/5Luftahraan.zip +Made interior for random bandit/mercenary group.
Still no-one editing? ...
Elite guards/KGB could have skull with dagger in it :v:
would be cool to have guards called "the hornets" or some shit like that
It's settled then. Luftahraan will be ruled by a Queen.
We obviously need the guards to have a line about how they float like a butterfly and sting like a bee now.
Editing
I think he means a name for the quest. Something like "Ex Machina" would be too cliched. How about "Fetching Revenge"?
I love it. If everyone likes the idea i'll write up a proper transcript.
Yeah, and the city's corrupt leader wants that tool. And he sends player to the depths after player has completed some missions for guards --> and for "KGB" --> And then leader think that player might be suitable for his quest. [editline]14th March 2012[/editline] http://www.1337upload.net/files/6Luftahraan.zip +Made shacks to the undercity. +Made enterance to the slave mines. +Made the arena (Preparing rooms are still missing, feel free to do them). Arena is adjacent to the slave mines and should have connect to it. [editline]14th March 2012[/editline] I like that idea, exept that last part.
