A few friendly notices: There has been a few changes to the departments, contact me if you're confused, but just minor aesthetic things. Also, there is a meeting this Sunday at 5:30 PM Pacific Time, please be there! We will be picking and deciding where to allot our man power, and what department you guys would like to join. Please have your choice in your head by this time and be prepared to begin working after the week's meeting!

better not stop now
Slow week, probably due to an influx in finals, vacations, work, and the good ole AP testing pretty soon. Hopefully things pick up steam when the summer comes around!
All current and future writers, please format your documents to look like this:
Quest Outlines https://docs.google.com/document/d/19W6l28pZ-JRnVZJaqQUNhQIs_Xkv9Kvke41U7OE3Dbw/edit Dialogue https://docs.google.com/document/d/1C9VnfO7a9uqQ7dnc_QrNbNWn12qwGxzJKUG9wJFx_Ps/edit Log Entries https://docs.google.com/document/d/13eZE3Ws2iRWZ-qFIpGFnC9x9UX-Lcx0Ip3fB9KcOiw4/edit
Idea: Maybe in the Leader's palace, there could be a torture chamber, sorta like the one in the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary?
That's not very good formatting for the purpose, in my opinion... :/ But I guess it's good enough for people that aren't familiar with the CK
That's how me and Zeldar have been formatting our quests, it seems better than having globs of text.
That's not very good formatting for the purpose, in my opinion... :/ But I guess it's good enough for people that aren't familiar with the CK
Why not ? You can't just say it's not good and then be done with it. Explain why it's not good so we could improve. We, the editors, can change whatever we want with the quest in order to develop it quicker and better so I don't really see why it's not a good format.
Whats the recent progress? My net broke two days ago, and problem isn't found yet, so i'm loaning my dad's mobile internet.
Whats the recent progress? My net broke two days ago, and problem isn't found yet, so i'm loaning my dad's mobile internet.
A meeting with some people from the writing department took place, we decided and ironed out some plans on how to organize and plan the future of the writing for Luftahraan. I made a pretty decent house interior and started working on the temple. I've yet to edit today though, I might squeeze in an hour or two tonight after dinner.
Editing [editline]18th April 2012[/editline] Done http://leet.cc/07luftahraan.rar +Continued the temple. ...And now someone should contribute too... [editline]18th April 2012[/editline]
Idea: Maybe in the Leader's palace, there could be a torture chamber, sorta like the one in the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary?
Ofcourse! If he has KGB, he'll surely have torture chamber too. He also needs a section of the palace where he is delivered regular "traitorous" subjects when he needs to feed. Could be part of his schedule.
Dungeon/torture room?
I won't say editing but I'm poking around to see what I can help about with. I have a collosal amount of unfinished mods I could touch up and splice into the city here or there. I've been modding since oblivions release but i've never actually released a mod :v: .
I've been modding since oblivions release but i've never actually released a mod :v: .
I have the same problem, I start a project, get sick of it and start a new one. I've never worked much on lighting, optimization and navmesh. Even trough I want to contribute to this mod, I am a bit scared that I'll just end up doing something, then not be able to finish it and slowing the entire project down. I've done some coding, the first script I made (quite early) was a hidden quest, hidden as in not showing up in your journal and instead is used as a neat way of activating different sequences of the dungeon I made. Still, this is just a rant and I am not thinking about applying before I've actually made something myself worth releasing.

I'm a perfectionist with the work ethic of a shoe. [editline]18th April 2012[/editline] Found something I could have a go at, Editing
Holy fuck! I actually didn't get the file when I wanted to edit This is a good thing btw.
May be a bit of a delay as I'm about to pass out from lack of sleep + skyrims deciding it wants to crash when I load a saved game
Aww. So not editing anymore?
May be a bit of a delay as I'm about to pass out from lack of sleep + skyrims deciding it wants to crash when I load a saved game
If you want to go to sleep then you have to upload the file first. [editline]18th April 2012[/editline] Dude this guy went offline on steam and isn't online on facepunch. What the fuck ? We should just skip his edit if he actually did that right ? Because I got a stream following that I need to entertain.
yeah man if he's gone to sleep then go for it to be honest, that's not cool that said, having a stream isn't a good reason to justify it
Hopefully he's just taking a nap.
Hopefully he's just taking a nap.
Which is not okay.
He could edit when he's awake again. But hopefully he didn't to much, so we don't lose precious progress.

It's good seeing progress again after a slow week!
So I was modding and I found an object called "WHArena". And apparently bethesda was planning on making an arena. Oh and I really need to know what god the temple will worship, It's hard for me to clutter the temple without knowing what statues and what "theme" it's supposed to have. [editline]18th April 2012[/editline] Done Editing -Did alot of layout fixing and polishing for the temple -Added basic clutter to about 1/3 of the temple File: http://www.leet.cc/8luftahraan.rar
Here's an update for you guys from the writing staff, thanks to Azaer. Again pick and choose what will work:
I have a concussion at the moment so working is a little difficult right now. Here's what little work I did this week. 1. After the player returns from retrieving the money from the beggar, the Captain pulls the player aside and tells him it’s time for the first test- how well you can hold your liquor. A. Player receives a bottle of ‘Crude Rum’. This triggers a miscellaneous task to drink it. B. Once the drink is given the pirates begin to chant “drink! drink!” C. When the player drinks the bottle it initiates a sequence where the screen blacks out (think A Night To Remember). 2. Player wakes up 24 hours later upon the island. A. The players entire inventory is removed and swapped out, the materials are; a) An iron knife b) Food (a loaf of bread, some alto wine) c) Ragged clothing, the ones that that player receives upon going to jail d) The letter explaining the situation and why the pirates left him on the island, should go as such; e) A longbow, but now arrows (arrows will be scattered on the island, player will have to scavenge for them) f) Mana potions (based on total Mage level) Goes 2-4-6 g) Health potions (based on total Fighter level) Goes 3-4-5 h) Stamina potions (based on total Thief level) Goes 2-3-4 Okay from here is where I get worried about how easy it will be to make (I was starting to get worried with potions based on levels, tbh). 3. The letter player is presented with journal logs telling him that he is left with two options, either to A. Gather wood and create a raft so he can sail off the island. or B. Gather wood in order to create a fire in order to signal a passing ship. 4. Now the player will be left, stranded on the island and forced to go find wood. Two markers will appear which will be always there, to two points on the shore. He can approach either shore and store wood at them. A. On point A, it will say “press A to create fire” pressing A will store wood, once 12 logs and a torch (found in the cave)* have been stored, a fire will be created. *finding the torch will initiate dialogue telling the player “I found a torch in the cave, perhaps I can use this to help create a bonfire” a) If this is done, then the player will get a cue saying “I’d better sleep until help arrives.” b) Player sleeps for any amount of time, once he wakes up there will be a ship there prepared to pick him up. B. On the other point (point B) it will say “press A to create raft” again, pressing A will store wood. Once 14 logs and ropes* have been stored, a raft will be built. *The rope may be found in the bay underwater. There will be a sunken fishing boat with that and a few other supplies in it.. The wood will be too rotted to use. a) Player boards raft and fast travel is initiated. (I’ll leave it up to debate for now whether or not to direct the player to the firewood axe, but the placement should be close to where he is. If we’re going for “stranded on an island” I’d go with let the player find it on his own. If we do this then 3-4 axes should be scattered across the island) 5. Player arrives home. I plan on making a whole other document for the ship route, and another for if they take the raft route (obviously much simpler for this one) MAPS Last one is pitiful as all fuck, but its just getting the point across of where the rope is.
