I have a question. I know that we have a problem where people can't mod the Luftahraan file at the same time. But what if someone did the island as a separate file, could we still be teleported to it as long as it's loaded in the "Data Files" in Skyrim?
Btw have anyone tried to contact Bethesda and asked if there's any way of modding a file at the same time, or merging multiple files into one? Because I doubt that they only had one guy working on Skyrim at the same time...

You'd have to load two different data files, I think we need to keep Luft in just one.

And when you tell a door in Luftahraan.esp to go to a cell located in luftahraanpirateisland.esp it will most likely cause complications.

making it a tropical island would be a very bad choice in my opinion. We would have to create new sand and grass textures and multiple ones at that and model palm trees and probably retexture boulders and such.
I think it's just much easier to use the assets we already have. We don't have the talent to create bethesda grade custom content.
It could be a tropical island covered in snow, it's skyrim after all..
