Nope but that's another interesting Idea I might try, what you do is translate them to a certain point on the axis. For example Bird.translate(0.0)(6.0)(0.0) this translates the object to 6 on the y axis
You sound creepy there, like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VZn8LYFS78&t=1m28s :v:
Hehe, some people told me before. :V I could try something different, but I think that wouldn't resemble a grumpy huge dunmer as good as this voice. I could go even lower with my voice to make it more like a growl.
No one editing?
Meeting Results Not a big meeting today, only four people showed, but we have accomplished:
Books: A Biography of Yorgen the Mad- https://docs.google.com/document/d/1V4k6jeu-cNw1ZQ5xjL3nE_XoQqWZHLivUYORTmjEOf4/edit Old Ghosts-A Tale of Dreadmund- https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MphoEIwpUXyaLr6VmSXKQmWFffcn32f7n-Nsw304_Xg/edit The Epic of Dreadmund- I. Hymn to the Dreaded One To your honor we sing, To your might we cry, And to your demise we lament. For who dare questions the name, Of the dreaded lord of the seas? Who dares make mockery, Of your accomplishments? We, your men, truth above, Hold you in esteem, As the rightful ruler of the ocean, And the mighty king of the blue. And so we sing in your honor, And cry for your might, And lament your demise. For behold we too see death, For behold we too will join you, And with open arms we question not, And with or lives, We continue on, in our rapscallion ways, In our endeavors, Our plunders, And our treasures. And so we sing in fear, In honor, In respect, And with solemn mourn, ‘Our captain, my captain, Where have you gone? Oh captain, my captain, You have left us. Oh captain, my captain, We await for you, And so you unto us. One day, we will meet, On the high seas of Skyrim.’ II. Birth Of mighty renown he would gain, Though his birth and origins are not, For though he was old, Some say as old as Ysgrimir And the mighty five hundred, He began like us, as nothing. For he was born with nothing, In a world where he held nothing, Where the dust and ashes were his friends, And the cold snow became a teacher. For he was raised in a land, Though we do not know which, That striked at the young and elderly, Tormented the strong, And killed the weak. For thus he stroved, In his youth, To achieve something greater, Something more. For thus he began his ascent, For thus he began his rise, And thus he became a sea-rider. When he was old enough to wield a blade, He tucked into a crate of fruit, And hid within the confines of a wooden ship, And left for a new life. And so he came forth into a new world, Where he met with the ancient ones, And he worked slowly, As a ship mate, As a crew member, And soon as a freelancer. For then he learned of the gifts of bounties, Of plundering, Of wealth and treasure. And such he strove, And in arrogance he declared a new name, A name that struck terror into the world since.
As well as this ode:
The Ode to the Sea Oh Captain, my Captain Longing we are to see thee When the ocean tides rise And the sea covers me But these things There is no telling But this time is different So we sit here, longing Awaiting for thee Who rests upon the Ghostly Sea Where we wait for a sign A hint of your deathly demise But fear not, we wait Wardens of your treasure ‘ole In the coldest reaches of the Divines For long we await Comprising our rapscallion role
As well as some posters:
Alright, I just started the re-installation of skyrim, but on a side note I decided to take up a side project yesterday since I felt like modding instead of waiting for skyrim to re-install. The mod is a fight club in riften but I need a better name for it, something riften like and original as if it were already in the game. I'm pretty bad when it comes to names so I was wondering what you guys think it should be called.
:suicide::suicide::suicide::suicide: OMFG! I re-installed skyrim and luftahraan still doesn't work:suicide::suicide::suicide::suicide::suicide::suicide::suicide::suicide::suicide::suicide:
We should investigate.
We should test too.
okay so I figured it might have been mods because I installed a lot of graphics mods for skyrim. So I did a fresh re-install and then put luftahraan and nothing else in my data folder, tried in game and it still crashes.Oh and I coc from main menu
We should check the .esp file for errors.
Well I just did the first quest and saved, tried to reload save with luftahraan installed and game crashes still, and how do we check .esp for errors?
Check for corrupted objects and stuff.
Oh well I can't do that since it won't load but last time I was editing I went in the city and some of the objects were missing textures so they were just like a neon purple color
Im free today to edit but i dont know if i should. if were having problems with the esp file than maybe i shouldnt try to add on? your thoughts?
We aren't having problems with the esp as far as I know, it's just not working for me for some reason and we were gonna try to figure out why. If you want to edit and the file works for you do it
what is VAPNA anyway
I couldnt get it to work, whenever i coc a room in Luftahraan it just endlessly loads or sometimes just crashes. i tried uninstalling all of my mods except luft but whatever i do it does the same thing.
what is VAPNA anyway
Luftahraan secret police, and means Hands
I couldnt get it to work, whenever i coc a room in Luftahraan it just endlessly loads or sometimes just crashes. i tried uninstalling all of my mods except luft but whatever i do it does the same thing.
Ya that's the same problem that I have so maybe the esp is corrupted then
.Esp works in editor, so it's fixable. [editline]7th May 2012[/editline] Maybe we should check the start up errors?
Right I'm back home from the lan party I was at. So I'll be editing tomorrow.
How will we check the start up errors?
Haven't edited in a while probably free tomorrow so let me know
Just released my side project as a beta in case anyone wants to check it out http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=16623

I am still working on improving the overall Quality of my recordings. I basically changed the mode on my mic to cardioid characteristic right now, which pretty much does a good deal with background noise and the size of my room. I also went up from 44100 Hz to 96000 Hz and worked a bit with noise reduction via Audacity. So I made a bit of fun here and there and try different things now. Edit: Yep, I know that I still need to improve. Some Feedback would be nice, though. I'd still like to give my voice to one of the NPCs.

The human ear can only hear about 20kHz and that's someone with perfect hearing. A normal person can only hear about 16 - 18kHz. So those extra Hz from 44100 to 96000 won't improve it in anyway. The only reason you might use a different sample rate is when working with other media. 44100Hz is for CDs and stuff. Some use 48kHz for broadcasting or TV. 96000 is used for dvd, I don't know why though. Cardioid Characteristic is mostly what you want for VOs. And then you want the microphone to be facing away from the computer. About the voice acting, it's alright nothing revolutionary, but it's alright. You don't use any effects on your voice? Except for some de-noiser? I think the Orc one is better than the other so what I would like you do is; render the VO in wav and send it to me. NoFX or nothing just completely clean, don't even de-noise it. I would like to try and mix it. What mic do you have and how far away do you stand? I think that you would do better if you stood a little further away. And don't record in 98000 it will only take more computer power to render and calculate all the extra sample rate.
