There's already timetravel in Skyrim. But magic like that will need powerfull energy source (like the hearth of the nirn in Luftahraan mainquest)
But that time-travel is very carefully crafted, and even then it's slightly ehh when it comes to the Morrowind established lore. The timewound is a special entity in itself, and it's placement is logical because of the dragon break created when they literally threw alduin out of space and time. To have mere magic conduct the same results is a bit stretched.
New ideas have been discussed between me and G-Strogg. I would greatly appreciate your opinions on this so please read: 1. We should get a website. A website would probably benefit us alot. And here are my reasons why: -Having a frontpage of everything Luftahraan will let us organize everything MUCH better. No going through pages of posts just to find some absolutely vital information. -It will attract people from all over the internet to work for this project since the project will seem much more professional and appealing Along with a bunch of minor things that I CBA to be mentioning atm but the two things above are the main reasons. 2. We should form a Luftahraan development team. We need more organization and this is getting too big for us to be chaotically developing the project in an open manner. -If we let anybody download the latest luftahraan file then the release of luftahraan will be very anti-climactic since people will be able to play it before it's finished. -This will most likely improve the general organization of this project. -Being a part of a team gives you much better motivation. If you are officially a "Editor of Luftahraan" then you'll feel that you need to live up to that title and deliver. -This will let other talent out there see that joining our team is an achievable goal and therefore, hopefully, getting more people on this project And then there would be complications: -If we want to form a team and not let people download the file openly then we need a secure way sharing the file. I'd like to mention that we should attempt getting version control working. This is a hidden feature in Creation Kit which allows many people to work on the same .esm file at the same time. Of course this would lead us to having to teach all of our contributors on how to work with version control and then having to convert our mod to .esm -We would need people who can actually create the website. G-Strogg said he has some experience in this field but he says he wants to read up on some subjects like html5 before he does a website. And of course we accept anybody who wants to help out in making a website if he has sufficient experience. And I say this again: I am not saying that these changes and additions are final or anything. This is just what has been discussed and I want opinions and see if we can and/or should apply these things.
I agree with you those are definitely changes that I think will benefit Luftahraan Also me and G-Strogg are going to try to get Version Control working next month I think, If I get working I'll stream how to do it when I get my mic so all the devs can learn it.
Alright so my friend has said he is more than willing to work back end, or even both, for free, but a donation would be very grateful for this person. He has worked on many websites: Nationcraft's website an whitelist antn.me/dev/3kings antn.me/dev/3kings/admin.php antn.me/dev/tf2valuator Etc

We're thinking about making it so that it's hinted that the trip back in time was made using the heart of Nirn under Luftahraan, so the advancements in alteration in the 5th era would work in conjunction with experimentations on the heart itself.

[editline]24th May 2012[/editline] Hmm, the dragon priest mask place has timetravel too.

No? Since it's in center of Nirn and dwemer dug there.
You could be talking about the Heart of Lorkhan, but that's not located in the center of Nirn. Dwemer didn't even have to dig to get their way to the heart of Lorkhan. [editline]24th May 2012[/editline] The Heart of Lorkhan is a great source though, seeing as their tampering with it literally reduced the entire race to ashes and sent them to another plane of existance. [editline]24th May 2012[/editline] The crux is that the heart does not exist anymore, it's power was tapped out in 3E 340~.

Actually this time it was Dagoth Ur who tried to make ANOTHER walking god called Akulukhuan or some shit. But when the Nerevarine stopped him and destroyed the enchanted webs protecting the heart, Mortals could draw from it's power. Shortly after this the heart shriveled up and dissappeared.
so now that i confirmed my identity, can someone fill me in on what i've missed?
Everything. Mail me what you've edited so far.
well the only things i've edited are all the lighthouse exterior cell, and both interior cells
Still, mail me at rancor.meat@gmail.com Include details and maybe even screenshots but that's optional.
Is somebody editing now? I could take a turn.
I'm reposting a post I made. This is vital information, so please read:
IMPORTANT INFORMATION. ALL LUFTAHRAAN CONTRIBUTORS MUST READ: I approve of this. G-Strogg is now a "Project Coordinator". All important changes he wants to make to the development process of this project will still have to be approved by me. With that said, if you want to become or stay as a contributor of Luftahraan then please go over your previous posts on facepunch and collect a list of all the things you have done for this project and email it to him. And for future edits: I strongly encourage you to email him a list of what you've done when You are done editing. He will be keeping an eye on this thread so it's not vital but it's encouraged. But you need to email him your past work. Basically it would look something like this: I basically went through my FP posts and got a list of things I've done and then I had to write down the rest from memory. Again, if you do this then we will become much more organized and the development for this proeject will become much smoother.
Editing [editline]24th May 2012[/editline] Done http://leet.cc/29luftahraan.rar Finished layout for the tower. (And lost clutter i did last tme because i forgot to save/upload it, someone else could clutter that tower)
Hey wheeze why don't you stream some Creation Kit. You haven't stream CK for really long.
Hey wheeze why don't you stream some Creation Kit. You haven't stream CK for really long.
He is too busy with Diablo 3.
He is too busy with Diablo 3.
Can't he give Diablo 3 a one day break ?? :s
lol sorry. I did warn you guys that this game would take over my life for weeks. Let's just hope I haven't lost all my viewership by now.
Can't he give Diablo 3 a one day break ?? :s
Considering the amount of hype he expressed in the CK stream, I am surprised he manages to close the game without letting out a single tear. Whoop, ninja'd.
Can add me to the list of available writers. And if there is a need of a swedish voiceactor, I'm available on that point as well.
emailed you strogg
Can add me to the list of available writers. And if there is a need of a swedish voiceactor, I'm available on that point as well.
Hit me up with a steam request; we've got a whole department and we're having a meeting today. [editline]26th May 2012[/editline] Meeting Conclusion Quest Outlines- https://docs.google.com/document/d/16qsgaDVSMWs2e4wvXINacZZm6s8UpWHFxdb44pZ4G_k/edit?pli=1 A Book- https://docs.google.com/document/d/1E8aC1sG6UzRfgMdemgvSeKPO0n6vUy9ZCgCzUgcpvtg/edit?pli=1 Quest Idea- https://docs.google.com/document/d/10_1HFdUrM0KaDd4E7ob8PKy3OHM04KpxJ5_6mX8Tb4g/edit Also we've worked on Thalmor influences and several other aspects of Luftahraan that will be ready for by next week. For a full detailed conversation on what we deliberated, please see: http://pastebin.com/B1BrW3j2
New thread soon?
And what about the moddb/web page?
I've recorded the dialogue that you wanted me to do for that pirate quest, each sound file is tagged with the few first words of the line it's based on. The sound files will probably require editing for volume and some cropping up. Let me know if any of them sound too weird, and I'll rerecord. https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B7X6yA6Af3g0aEc5WWZ6SXVQTUk Definitely not my voice acting team's best work, and my mic is starting to show its age a bit, but I think it'll do the job. If anybody has any more voices to do, I have a whole slew of guys on standby.
And what about the moddb/web page?
Wheeze hasn't contacted me but my friend is more than willing to do the website for free; he is also a well known fp'er.

We might use it but we need to start setting a standard when it comes to voice acting and mics. Other then that I say good job! I need someone who can DESIGN the looks of the website and then I can ask who can create it and then we add things after that.
