Well... What a trainwreck it was. I trusted OVK so much on this Crimefest, and I never expected such a letdown. I don't even want to explain, the microtransactions, pay2win stuff, awful skins, community rewards being 90% masks and 10% stuff that should have been in the game for a long long time...
Thank you, OVK, Starbreeze, whatever, for ruining one of my favourite games ever. I put so much trust in you, I bought so much DLC (Including COVK pack) and I was OK with your DLC policy. Thank you for showing me your true scummy, childish and greedy face.
Microtransactions are one thing but the weapon "balancing" ruined so many guns that were just scraping by on being decent.
It killed a lot of what i had previously been used to and left me in this awkward uncomfortable place for awhile.
I don't think they spent any actual time on the rebalancing, the overwhelming standardization of stats feels like they selected most guns in a category and changed their damages to the same thing.
The AMA on Reddit is going to be either a shit storm or Almir's just going to glance over the MT related questions.
The last day is underwhelming to say the least. I'm honestly really afraid that they're holding all the cool shit (Xeno gun, drivable escapes, other classic heists, etc.) hostage, for future DLC.

So no community sniper or special/explosive weapon? Well at least we have tons of shitty masks! It's like all Payday needed was more fucking masks. Since Crimefest has ended we can look forward to a new DLC pack each month. Not a DLC buyer? Don't worry, next years Crimefest will give you even more masks!

How can anyone be okay with this.
They lied to us and added microtransactions.
They made us waste time and effort on challenges for rewards that we didn't want.
They've made us do challenges for bug-fixing and minor improvements which should come naturally over the months in regular updates.
You can be happy about what Crimefest brought us, but the way they handled it is absolutely catastrophic and I'm absolutely disgusted by what they've done.
To think, we had so many cool ideas as to what the unlocks were, and when we got them, nearly all of them were a disappointment.
Overkill are really suicidal.
MTs on first day of crimefest,shit update that should not have been part of CF,shit masks,passive agressive answers to the community,etc...
Overall, while this event severely dissapointed me, it didn't ruin the game- they added a good few heists and other improvements (that really should NOT have been rewards for that shit but I digress) and overall anything we didn't like about the changes they'll be fixing them soon. Overall, one floppy dong out of 10.

Why even bother with the jumping achievements? They can all practically be done in 2 jewellery store missions.

it probably took a lot of hard working animators and programmers to implement those jumping animations, but at the end, it doesn't even matter because no one really cared when there warn't any jump animations.

While it might have made the final day a bit better for the COVK owners, those without it would still be left feeling disappointed.
