What's a good pistol to use. I normally don't use them because I prefer automatics or shotguns, but I'm getting tired of that play style.

Pretty much any of them other than the Gruber Kurz and Chimano Compact.

Bodhi is very dedicated to his trigger discipline.
Huh. So the platypus is basically a nagant copy with only two modification slots. Fair enough. Feels like it reloads faster at least.
I hope those projected perk deck changes comes soon. I want sociopath to have a one-second cooldown.
Bodhi seems to have a bit of a bone problem

Are there any special dialogue lines during the process too?
I love how polite and cheerful Locke is when giving you instructions. He sounds like a ski instructor.
"Very good, you blew the doors open. Now please enter the facility."
Are there any special dialogue lines during the process too?
Nope, just the standard "X's been downed!" from Bain.
So the only new lines that were added were call-out lines? Not hearing much ells besides that.

He got a point I guess.
I know I'm late responding to this, but I was mulling the statement over in the shower and I thought I'd post my thoughts. It's interesting to me because as simple as it is thinking that Overkill are just greedy and want to make obscene amounts of money regardless of the consequences, that isn't a reason that sufficiently explains the situation with Payday currently, and it seems too emotional and not well thought-out enough.
What Almir's saying
We're charging for the Point Break heists because we're getting more ambitious with our work on Payday, and need MT money as well as DLC money for that.
Where this argument has merit
Coyote has said that the latest trailer had a more technically difficult creation, and it does look great.
They don't usually have so many trailers, with Almir breaking down what Bodhi's character pack comes with, and explaining the perk deck (which was neat, and kind of a tutorial). Not sure about the Garret-Bodhi trailer, but it was alright I guess.
I'd say they probably are being more ambitious with their marketing, and the heists do seem considerably more varied than any heist before.
Where the argument falls down
Almir noted that we were getting two heists and a gun for this pack, rather than just one, like before! However the Bomb Heists had this exact same set up, and that was with LGL. How come they don't need MT and DLC money for a collab with another studio, but they do need both incomes for an Overkill product which is surely backed at least a little by the new Point Break movie's marketing team?
The possible ugly truth
It's been said before in this thread, but I'm not entirely sure I believe it, because the sources are sketchy and it suggests a degree of fiscal irresponsibility on Starbreeze's part that seems unreasonable considering their success.
"Starbreeze has a multitude of other products that are still in development, and they solely lean on Payday 2 to back these projects."
If this is the real reason that they're taking MT money and DLC money, then they deserve the negative attention they're getting, and Almir's statement is hollow.

What annoys me about this, this is him saying "We need more money to sell more DLC", what the fuck kind of excuse is that? What happened to actually selling a fucking product instead of overcharging your customers with the pretense that you can THEN sell them ANOTHER product? And most importantly, how is it that so many other companies manage to survive and grow without whoring their game out?
I said it already, everyone is jumping on the microtransaction train because it's currently the best way to charge a lot for very little, relatively speaking. Add in RNG boxes and you're managing your own little casino on the side, just add a new gimmick every month to reel in some fool who'll spend his entire paycheck on a texture that took twenty minutes to make. I'm waiting for the next thing the games industry will come up with to make money doing absolutely nothing. My money is on premium subscriptions for single player games, calling it now.
Instead of making excuses they can either learn to manage their budget, or put up with people calling them out for trying to sell overpriced (and nonetheless hideous) shit. Take some responsibility for once, maybe.
I could also make the point that if you're so strapped for cash you're "forced" to introduce pay to win elements in your game perhaps you shouldn't be wasting so much of it in making expensive live action shorts, animated trailers and complex website pages for every single new DLC or update. Or maybe, budget isn't as much of a problem as it sounds. Mhmh.

There's the rub, even if they are spending more on marketing, it's marketing, the players don't care how good you're getting at selling stuff to them, they want more and better content. Almir is saying that that's what we're getting, but I'm not sure that's the case, even with how good everything in this latest update looks. Ultimately, if you're at the point where you're a business explaining your budget to your customers, you've made a mistake.
We're only interested because they're asking too much.

This is something I've been bitching about since the start. Payday 2 is OverStar's only major product and their biggest source of income. They've got at least three big projects in the work, and are entirely reliant upon Payday 2 to foot the bill. They've overextended themselves and now they're butchering the milk cow to try and make ends meet.

On a slightly unrelated note, "OverStar" is a really cool mashup name.
I just thought I'd put that forth.

I personally like KillStar, but I have a weird thing for Liefeldian names. :v:
There should be an IQ test for new players or at least an english proficiency exam jesus christ, I played on NORMAL birth of sky, had one idiot splatter on the ground, spent like 10 minutes yelling at them to find the ladder, and then lost because two of them went afk at the same time

You just reminded me how great Blood Dragon was, linked the gif instead of posting for people concerned about spoilers (I know the game is old but I hate even minor spoilers for anything and I'm scared that if I post a gif somebody will complain that their ISP charged them $500 for loading it)

Ok, new contractor don't have real actor counterpart, he looks fucking silly in lobby.
I was rolling on the floor when I heard Sokol's shout on the parachute "Za Putina! (For the Putin!)". Funny, because in polish language it sounds same as in russian.
