Well shit, I kept my game installed with the small bit of hope that OVK might actually fix some of the shit they did by the time the event was over but I guess that was a bit naive of me to think. I'm sorry but I'm done with this game, the way this event kicked off left such a bad taste in my mouth that none of the other good shit they added made me want to play it again. Having bought at least 80-100 dollars worth of DLC that really fucking disappoints me even though I got a good 400 hours out of this game.
I know saying I feel betrayed sounds cliche as hell but I bought all of that DLC because I loved OVK and wanted to support them even if it was pretty overpriced. The way the event ended basically just epitomizes how I feel, I did all of that (paid them all that money) only to be completely let down and underwhelmed. And that fucking sucks cause I love this game and the characters especially. It's been fun guys but between OVK's borderline criminal business tactics and just how disappointing this event was I'm gonna have to call it a day with Payday.
I hope they've enjoyed the level of player engagement this year, because they've set a [B]looow [/B]bar for next year's. Considering a big part of our efforts went on shit masks, people isn't going to fall for it again.
But of course, who would look into the future when you have epic skins rolling fat dosh around your offices?
