a happy little drill
I did literally every piece of video editing for this thing, including visual effects. I also wrote the script and did most of the modelling (except the body and afro). I didn't do sound though, we have a cool guy called Emil who does that.
I wanted so many details to be right. Even the palette and easel are accurate. I'm so proud of it, especially the bit where he twirls the brush around his fingers. I was sitting there in my office chair twirling a pen around for like an hour just studying the micromotions of the fingers to try and mimic the motion as well as possible.
And as per usual with any artist really, you go blind to flaws after staring at it for too long and now I look at it and go "Oh HOW did I miss that".
I'm still proud of it though. I think I managed to get that VHS look pretty well.
Also it's fucking Bob Ross. How many people get to rightfully say they got to make a fully animated homage to BOB ROSS at work? Was about as giddy and excited to make this as I was to do the little Zelda chest-opening animations for Crimefest, if not more so.
Also Damion Poitier's voice was just a joy to work with. He nailed every nuance of the script the way I wanted it to be. 10/10 actor.

Also, I'm so very happy to see people on Reddit and YouTube be happy and welcoming about this. <3
Gotta love Damion. He's probably among my favorite voice actorsr right after Pete and Dragomir.
This hunk is by far my favorite:

Bob Ross is one of my personal heroes. Spend my whole life struggling with anxiety and have always turned to him because of how soothing and optimists a human being he is, I consider him the closest thing we had to a living Angel
Also Chains is the best heister. This is a good Christmas gift.

He managed to get me back into painting, after not having touched a brush and canvas for years. It's so fun. He was a lovely man.
And Chains is not just best heister, he seemed like a logical fit for a Bob Ross homage, especially given both Bob and Chains have an ex-military background! :D

I still cant picture Bob Ross as a drill sergeant.

Personally I blame Overkill for adding so many meth cooking missions for the past couple of years.

Did you get to direct/speak to Damion yourself or did he just receive the script and do his own take?
Also, bit of an elephant in the room but when Chains talks about moving past the bad things are you essentially saying forgive Overkill for microtransactions? (And if the future's always bright, then why have things been bumpy this year?)
First heist in a few months, it's armored transported. I get kicked while I'm planting C4 on a truck. Maybe I got kicked because he didn't want to miss any loot? Oh wait host brought C4 and saw. Fuck this game (No not really but these pubs oooh I'm mad)

Heres your problem, Armored Transport and pubs
I wanna get a sound pack just for the shotguns, is Hawk's easy to install?
I watched a video and even hawk's is missing a great pump action sound for Renfield. Considering it's the zombie hunting gun I thought it'd have cooler sounds.

They're all easy to install
They're all easy to install
Well last I remember hawk's soundpack never had a a proper directory, the download just had all the sound files and you had to make the directory and the folders yourself, which isn't a real problem, but it's an odd thing to avoid fixing in the download.

I think it got fixed but still, that's not something really hard to fix yourself
Hawk's still doesn't have a folder path i believe
Which is stupid
But it's easy to make, and once you made it if you use winrar it should linger in your history for easy updating

Nah, we have producers for that. But I relied to him what I wanted it to sound like and what I got back was the result I wanted!
And well, it's Chains being optimistic on what's to come. Not much else to add. :D

Pretty sure he's using the objective strings from PDTH, which did have a period at the end.
On a related note, I'm actually helping port things for that right now.
Here's an older screenshot of it:

Yeah, Vicious is porting it, I'm helping here and there.
It's really cool so far! But it kinda fucks with the game so it's really only good to install --> play --> uninstall to play normally.
peoples on the ocean of salt that is the steam forums think the 10K$ donated to LB is a bribe.
none of them were smart enough to ask LB members to know what happen when you shit on ovk on their forums.
so apparently the new point break isn't very good...
That's a shame considering what an amazing surprise John Wick was
