I think overkill are pretty big point break fans, as eivdence by their use of Bohdi as a reference in both games and other such little pointers, mask related mostly.
John Wick was a bit of a shill but Point Break was somewhat guided by their inner fanboy, oh well at least the hiests were grande and I do actually like Locke as a character... if only they didn;t use his out of place in game model for the heist preperation screen.
Heck they coulda used his glitched out edited murkywater logo and that would've looked MUCH better.

Total opposite of my feelings for Vlad however. I'm not sure when it was, either the meltdown heist or the black market update, but at some point he went from being a likeable, small-time gangster to an absolute annoying prick willing to [sp]irradiate us, sell nuclear armaments to terrorists and force us to lift massive safes of painted weapons in the Californian sun just to make a quick buck[/sp]
Playing the Santa Workshop Heist recently I was actually hoping we betray and kill him later. It'd be great if he had a huge safehouse that we could assault/infiltrate, and maybe he offers us more loot if we leave him alive, or we can kill him and just take whatever is in his safehouse. That'd be an interesting choice, if you spare him, you get another day of the heist where he sends you to a warehouse or something, and then either betrays you or lets you take whatever is there (based on RNG). Since he'd have to be dead, you could have Bain insist on not leaving loose ends and having him killed off-screen.
Bain could say this if he betrays you: [I]"I know you'll want to kill him yourselves, but he's headed out of the country and I've had Ilja keep his sights on him, I've gotta pull the trigger now or he'll fuck us over later"

AK/CAR for sure.
To put it quite simply, if you enjoy using any of the AK or AR15 family guns at all, you need it to bring out their full potential.
For AKs, the classic stock is the best stock, the keymod rail is the best foregrip, the scope mount is free stability, the modern barrel is free damage, low drag mag is free capacity, stability and concealment, the alu grip can be a decent alternative to the plastic grip and is the only grip usable on the RPK and finally the DMR kit is pretty damn useful post-balance.
For AR-15s, the e.m.o foregrip is the only all-rounder foregrip for the car-4, the long ergo foregrip is the best foregrip for the amr-16, the aftermarket shorty foregrip is the best foregrip for the para, the thrust lower receiver is free damage, the l5 magazine is free capacity and stability (it's the same stats as clover's expert mag though so if you already have that l5 doesn't matter really), the 2-piece stock is a good all-rounder and one of the two best AR-15 stocks post-balance (The other being war-torn for that little bit extra accuracy at the cost of stability), the lw upper receiver is free accuracy and stability and much like with AKs, the DMR kit is good (Not as good as the AK one though. Since AKs have access to the classic stock with its +12 stability, an AK7.62 DMR will have much better stats than an AMR-16 DMR. Modded for 100 accuracy, the best stability I could get with an AMR-16 DMR was 56, with AK 7.62 it was 68 at 170.1 damage or 72 at 169 damage. I dunno if 170's a relevant breakpoint or not but there you go).

So with the new Nato update you can put HE shells on most guns. Putting them on a sniper with Blaze's give you instakill splash as well as blowthrough

Gonna elaborate on that- those two were made before PD:TH if I recall correctly, they were just added into the Diamond Heist DJ's playlist on one of the later patches. And oh man, it's been a while since I've heard those tunes. Brings back memories. Actually, once again if I recall correctly, there were 6 songs that got added that patch, too.
