tbh I'm pretty happy with crimefest. Before hand I hadn't played payday for weeks, but its gotten me back into it. Bipods are amazing, the heists are awesome, new music is great, and I enjoy doing bonus challenges to get safes+drills.
The weapon rebalance has led me to using more varied weapons (where previously I either used the Ninja Sniper or a Car-4), and getting a weapon skin has made me start using lower tier weapons to enjoy the skin, which is a nice challenge on higher difficulties.
I think people are acting like the challenges were actually difficult (save the 30k players, which was), but in the end it was just a way over overkill to interact with the community and put their FBI files to use. They could have just gone straight to releasing content, but then the community wouldn't feel as attached to the reward.
Thats just my opinion though

Try restarting Payday 2, you will see an "!" on the Steam Inventory option.

The only redeeming part of this shitfest were heists. I loved every minute of them, they're great, Simon did a perfect job with the soundtrack and I actually felt like forgiving Overkill for the skin disaster.
Not after this day. They basically gave us all a middle finger.

This jumping crap definitely is not related to Brooklyn.
And Slaughterhouse's codename was "farm", and it was self-explanatory.

Nothing in the assets even indicated Green Bridge, I'm not exactly surprised. Slaughterhouse had assets added along with FWB though.
That's it. I'm fucking done with this damn game. Overkill have proved to me this Crimefest that all they care about is milking us faithful customers. Just constant nickel and diming and I'm fucking sick of it. They make no effort into fixing key problems with the game, and when they "attempt" to do anything about it its always shit out with barely any effort put into it.
I envy those of you who can still find enjoyment in this game, but for me I just look back at it being 231 hours of disappointment. It sucks too because there's a lot of cool and talented people in this community and that the effort is pretty wasted.
Move over Tribes Ascend and Planetside 2. There's a new entry in the Graveyard of Failed Potential.

Codenames tend to be random, or not even related to its actual purpose. Like how AK/Car pack was Ameno. Or FWB was "red." It means whatever OVK was using it for.
