I wonder if naming him Captain Winters is supposed to be a reference to Captain (later Major) Richard Winters.

Skulldozer's DPS is actually super bad when compared to most of the other Deathwish units, I mean his firerate's actually only about 700 RPM (@100 damage per shot) and because of damage grace he ends up just having poor damage output. Then the Skulldozer suffers from the Dozer cheese that all Dozers suffer from: Slow as hell and stunnable from just about every form of damage. The Blackdozer on the other hand is just better in every way. When his average damage output is 300~ and he has 20 rounds loaded ready to shove up your ass he quickly dispatches even entire teams in mere seconds. But because of issues with damage grace looking at damage taken and not actual raw damage from the unit, he ends up ignoring any iframes gained from damage grace and tends to down people in milliseconds. If it was up to me I'd make Dozers immune to stunning completely, give them the ability to sprint, and nerf the Saigadozer's damage. But as a certain (former) moderator's said to folks before: "you don't get to decide game balance." New update's kinda fun, did Deathwish Undercover with my mod active. It was hell and we barely managed to get out. Dunno how it is in vanilla, I'm assuming underwhelming.

Ok so doing the all grenade/rocket launchers achievement on Undercover is one of the most fun things I've ever done in this game. Four people, all equipped with the Piglet/GL40/China Puff, grenades flying everywhere, everything dying. Then at the end, we all unlocked both that achievement, the one for not killing snipers, and the >120 kills with >120% crew accuracy achievement. It was fucking intense and amazing.

You've been warned.[/B] ---- Dear Overkill, as someone who spent quite a few bucks on my current 60-something skins and find them more appealing in every new safe you put out, [B]could you please add filters to the Payday 2 steam market ?[/B] The in-game previews are pretty neat but unfortunately, you can't see the event safes after you've opened yours. So you have to search the market for event skins... but it's near impossible. You have to either go from page to page, hoping to see ones you like or google which skins where in which safes and search them individually on the market. It's a pain, really. Check out Counter-Strike:GO filters, they're quite good and it helps narrowing your search. If we could get a filter for "safe", "quality" and "weapon", I would be quite happy. And I'm fairly sure it would sell better if it was set up better as well. Thanks for the kickass game ! :pudge:

It seems Overkill are still doing their quality testing with the new DLC. Take a saw with you when doing counterfeit (to saw open the gates), and if you get the C4 spawn in the printing room and use the saw to open the gates, Then the C4 does not trigger, so you cannot defuse it. And you get stuck in a dead mission & have to restart..

Hunt mode can only be true or false: If there is a map specific hunt as well as hunt due to Winters, the hunt mode is disabled upon his retreat (e.g. [B]White Xmas can have ordinary assault mechanics if Winters retreats after the map forces hunt).[/B][/quote] If you want to easily wreck Winters and his phalanx, as soon as he spawns, take a Light Explosive Crossbow or some other explosive weapon and go to town. I prefer the Light Crossbow because it's useful in other encounters, it does a ton of damage with good splash radius, it has a lot of ammo, and it reloads fast, but I'm assuming not many picked up the Chivalry pack because other than the crossbow it's all garbage.

Unpopular opinion, but the Chivalry pack is great for dodge. Crit-build HE Crossbow for days.

Still leaves me no real reason to have to deal with him, especially since I don't own Chivalry or Overkill pack, so those are not an option. His dudes are also feel like Bulldozers carrying shields, I put an entire G36 mag into one when he had his back turned, to no effect. Overall it's a bit underwhelming. While it's a cool idea, all he really does is make your assault feel like it did 1 year ago, where cops take slightly more shots to kill, and the wave is infinite. I sorely miss Payday: TH's pacing. Back when you had a couple minutes before the first assault started, and that assault was short and only consisted of police officers. Now, every heist is a Heat Street or Green Bridge, with instant SWAT everywhere and no breaks 'till you reach the exit.
captain winters can be a real pain in the ass on death wish, if you don't take him out as soon as possible buffed cops combined with infinite assaults will fuck you over real bad

Cops (especially tans) just don't feel like dying if Winters is on the map. Elites don't die in 1 headshot, tans become super tanky, etc. We always take out Winters if he's nearby because he really fucks with breakpoints.

The Undercover port needs more oomph imo. Feels like the most direct port out of all the classic heists.
