I'm pretty sure you blow like half of the building off,not just the roof

Of all the places it'd make sense in? This is a big one.
Which reminds me, the fact that they made you able to print money in Counterfeit makes sense honestly
Why wouldn't you make use of the printer on site for more profit?

easier to print when you're not swarmed by cops I think

I doubt it. I was really hoping for a stealthable Counterfeit, but it seems we didn't get it.
Actually, did we? Is it possible?
Overkill really should have made it possible. Of all the maps it could be added to, this one makes a lot of sense.
I wouldn't mind heat street as long as it was in the spirit of the original and less like Hoxton Breakout.
easier to print when you're not swarmed by cops I think
The Payday gang specialise in doing things while being swarmed by cops. If they can cook meth (which can kill them if they fuck up) like that, they can press a few buttons on a printer and let it work.
hey y'all i've been away from this thread since FWB was remade
what's new?
Heat Street is probably going to be more enjoyable simply because it's a lot easier to fight on that sort of terrain in the sequel, just as long as excess snipers aren't involved, which I'm sure Overkill will spread liberally just to spite me. In the first game, it was a nightmare, and that's why a majority of the players who did it just ran the gauntlet for the first part of the map, and whoever didn't survive was brought back via hostages at the crash site.
However, I still expect that dodge players will be able to just run past the first few blockades right to the crash site in the remake. In fact, with dodge, it may even be easier to do. Overkill may have to add something to prevent people from being able to do it so easily.

Few new safes
Team boosts drop like mods
Couple new DLC's
Slaughterhouse, Counterfeit and Undercover are back
Hitman is still the worst perk deck

Well aside from Deathwish, Payday 2 is also significantly easier at this point in time. In Payday:TH a Heavy SWAT could tank 2 or 3 hits from the M308 Rifle and a Bulldozer was fierce unless you magdump an M308 in his face at point-blank. In Payday 2, Greens go down in one hit from the M308 and Bulldozers are pushovers that can be killed in seconds with a side-arm.
Heat Street in Payday 2 would be much easier because the game itself is much easier.
I got a concealment mod but my guns tell me there's no mod available, so what gives?

If is a +3 concealment mod, only a few weapon can use it, like the bernetti or the clarion.

Just finished Wolf.
Really happy with this one. Annoyed how Hox has a 'cartoony' feel. Think it's the reflective glint in his eyes.
E: Lowered the glint and fixed his mouth a little.
Any feedback on the others before I start the fuckery that is Texas?

They should really have a list or something then, even the wiki doesn't list stat boosts. If you drop one of these, you have no way of telling how you can use it short of checking every single weapon one by one.

Nice job so far!
I feel like all of the three you've done so far could benefit from having their eyebrows moved outwards and warped so the ends bend downwards some more.
If you compare new Chains's eyebrows to old Chains's, the outer point seems much higher above the eye, giving him a less relaxed look. The same applies to Wolf, and to a less degree, Hoxton. I feel this would help them to look less tight and intense.
You could also try adding some shadows to the texture in areas where the original texture has shadows, such as around Wolf's eyes, to help it fit better with the model you have to work with.

Thanks, I'll look into that. A little stumped on the eyebrows. Wolf and Chains were very angry faced, even for how relaxed the actual PD2 chains is. Wolf especially, in PD2 he even is modeled to be scowling. What exists now is already having cleaned them up. I'll see what I can do with them.
Edit

Right fuck it I'm tired, wrapping it up. Dallas looks like he hates life because of his shitty asymmetrical model and tilted texture sheet and fucked up normal maps, can't do jack shit about that. Also Wolf is less pissed off. I just didn't get another screen of it. I'll throw a download up onto LastBullet tomorrow, I guess.
I was really hoping for a stealthable Counterfeit, but it seems we didn't get it.

Well, yes and no.
You can open the safe in stealth if you're lucky with hose/crowbar spawns, and you have 4-man team with 8 aced ECMs.
It's funny how alarm goes off at this point and you see three Shields rushing to the manhole spot, all with (!) marks above their heads.
But overall it's not really worth it, since the heist is pretty easy anyway and is not intended to be completely stealthable.
Here's a video of it, if you're interested. Beware of russian VO though.

My brother insists on playing Bodhi and I fucking hate it. I enjoy most of the character's voice lines, especially characters like Jacket, Hoxton, Dragan, and Bonnie. Infact I even like jiro's Japanese yelling, but everything bodi says is cringe inducing or just flat out lame.
Just standing around in the basement on counterfeit, waiting for the door to unlock, when I get- "LET'S STRIKE BACK at the PEOPLE WHO WANT TO CONTROL US !" yelled in my ear.

The meth lab is inside of the safe.
I did Counterfeit with some folks some time ago. It's good to see they added some new things to the old heists.
Like being able to actually use mitchell's machine to print money and make profit. Looking forward to see stuff like this on the future remake heists.

Can someone please extract the new songs from the Wolf Pack? I can't be bothered waiting half a year until it's put in the soundtrack, thanks.

I have a friend that likes to play Bodhi because he's the only character that doesn't wear a suit. I sympathize with that sentiment, I miss the tactical outfits from the first game. Never liked how we inexplicably wear suits everywhere. In the first game, suits were just a cover for us to blend in with the business crowd in First World Bank, or to make us look 'official' to the gangsters in Panic Room.
Since a large number of Payday 2's heists are loud from the start, it makes sense to dress like it. Even something as simple as making heavier armours automatically equip tactical gear while No Armor and Light Vest are always suits.
