We definitely need a super-French heister and super-German heister. Maybe Eiffel, a former French master chef/wine expert gone Hannibal, that way we can implement tons of "Zut alors, I'll make coq au vin/Bœuf bourguignon out of you hon hon sacre bleu!" shouts. Kartoffel the German guy could be a engineer, keeping the same strict and punctual work ethic in his heisting career "We don't have die Zeit, kommen sie on verdammt!"
Honestly I think I'd prefer if they calmed down on the new heisters - probably expand more on Jiro because he has potential for a good story.

They had this whole setup with him looking for his son, now almost exactly 6 months later there's been no progress at all on that, and instead he's just helped the Payday Gang: Transport a bunch of safes for Vlad in an earthquake-ravaged LA Learn how to move their legs while jumping Deal with some kind of bizarre acid trip where they cooked meth on a giant lab while being menaced by an enormous Cloaker Break into a secure Murkywater base and steal a bunch of money from a Murky plane Convince some festive bikers to pack up presents full of drugs for Vlad Wrangle a bunch of coke-filled goats for Vlad (which includes being humiliatingly kicked and rammed by the goats) Why is he still hanging out with these people?

I have to agree with suakeli on this one.. this game is hilariously unrealistic and it'd be better off embracing that than trying to be all serious. I don't really want my characters to have a complicated backstory and emotional arc dictating what that would or wouldn't say during a heist, I want them to be fun. This is a video game after all.. and not a serious one. My favourite characters are Bonnie and Chains, not because I like their stories or whatever, but because they have hilarious accents and expressions and are "typical scottish/black gangsta dude". Jiro is a boring character not because he is a stereotype, he's boring because no one can understand him, he keeps screaming for no reason and who wants to be an old grandpa anyway ?
