And it's a good thing too, could you imagine if we had an Overkill employee who was actually involved in the direction the game is taking? Things are awkward enough now and he's not even related to the development changes.
Feels strange to actually have discussions in a place where shit i say might actually get picked up by OVK Employees.
pst fix primary shotguns please
What does Coyoteze have to do with anything?
He simply does trailer animation and promo things last time i checked
Honestly nothing more than what you said. He's just the inside man for all intents and purpose.
For the record, I have absolutely nothing against the guy.
Man i really miss the snippet of lua code i had which would play a .wav whenever i got a headshot.
I miss mods in general.

It is strange when you think about it like that. Coyoteze has said in the past that he's not a messenger, so people shouldn't ask him to fix things (especially as that isn't his area), but I'm pretty sure other people at OVK read this. There was another guy who posted not too long ago, I'm sure, although I don't remember that too well.
I'd imagine if there were other readers, they wouldn't post since Almir is pretty much the only one who interacts with the community.
I'm I the only one who finds almir's answers kinda infuriating?
He isn't even trying.
"I thought everything was free."
"We are very happy to be working with the press on payday 2."
That was his response for every "why is this free" question in a few words.

What a disgusting AMA. I don't know what I was expecting, but it definitely wasn't that.
"I know a vocal minority and the misguided media are upset, but the customers seem satisfied! ;)"
Who exactly does he think the customers are?

I frequented there pretty often too, fucking sucks.

The community turn around is so rough from these past 10 days I think I have whiplash. I'm just at a loss for words.
While the general sentiment here in the subreddit has been negative towards microtransactions, the numbers speak a different language. Players seem to be loving it. Will they feel the same in a month? Six months? We don't know. We'll do our best making PAYDAY 2 as interesting as possible during that time, while constantly reviewing the feedback.
This seals the deal, and just like I said, the steam market basically supports the Microtransactions all by itself.

What if this was all planned by Coyoteze? What if he is the true mastermind behind this? Nobody would suspect of the guy that just makes animations, the perfect cover. Sounds crazy enough to be true, yeah.

Sorry but
avatar REALLY fits
Still, I hope this situation is not going to be the beginning of an even harsher decline
It gets better:
A simple question
Do you think it's fair for the community, to buy a drill for 2.50$, to uncrate a DLC weapon, and then have to spend another 4.99$ to use that weapon ?

Hey SpartanB218. I think that if this is a common issue, we will have to make extra clear that before someone purchases a safe. We'll look at our data and see if that's the case.

I've got a wild idea on how to save money if you're apparently so short on dosh:
Unfortunately, due to bad decisions and corporate greed on Overkill's part
What?
Seems like you can get a refund for your Completely Overkill pack, can anyone check to make sure it's not BS?

I'm not part of a hivemind. But I am part of an NDA. :vs:

I tried the whole bug-report excel-sheet thing when I first started but it became so much I couldn't really do that and still do my actual job. That was before I was signed for full-time and I was still doing in-game animations, but since March I've been a Cinematic producer full-time and I haven't even looked at the animation implementation code since then - and I am so glad I don't have to! :poot: The other guy you're talking about (Nattskift) doesn't work at OVK anymore though.
As for interaction, I've been doing the whole YouTube thing for long before I started at Overkill so I've learnt to handle and talk to large amounts of people, which is why I feel more confident having a presence in general.
This is going so much worse than I expected, and I expected it to go badly
Almir is giving zero fucks

1:11 sums up this entire experience.
The more think I about the more something should be done, I have been using mods for a long time. Like DMC's Weapon Overhaul due the great work done here. With the Crimefest update, the hook broke due an engine change and who lend a hand to help fix the hook faster? Not Overkill for sure. So far how big is the number of times of Overkill screwing a modder or not helping it as they say they would?
Personally, the one who should be getting money are the ones who has been supporting modding and the community in general and not saying paying mods or that stuff. Just a little option to donate those who keep modding alive, because to be honest the main reason I keep playing this game is because how you can easily mod the game to alter or fix something that Overkill should have been done a long time ago.
I'm not part of a hivemind. But I am part of an NDA. :vs:
I completely understand that, mate. I joke your way a lot about the whole Overkill situation, but I don't actually mean any of that shit to sound mean.

Says the guy who paid £75 for a weapon texture.
