Sven Co-op is just around the corner, and that's old-school co-op action. It will be free to everyone on Steam, you won't even need to own Half-Life. Vermintide is also pretty fun, I picked that up lately. It's basically L4D but with rat monsters in a fantasy setting with different classes and a light RPG system. It even has a bag throwing level!

It's sad what happened to TF2, i love that game i just burned out so damn hard.
KF2 is a really solid game, i ought to play it more but the content isn't enough to keep my attention unless i screw around on custom maps.
Vermintide has a strange way it does difficulty, needs to be fleshed out more imo but it is incredibly fun.
I probably won't leave Payday 2, or Payday.
The formula works, simply put. I'd love a return to the gameplay mechanics of PDTH but it still works.

Honestly, L4D is still hilarious to play with friends, and also has a very active community creating maps and shit for it.
There's also No More Room in Hell, Borderlands and Warframe. Fuck, even Dead Island is fun with friends.

It's absolute horse-shit. I once praised Overkill for not wasting money into marketing (and it worked considering the game was profitable with pre-orders alone) and their fair system for DLC in PD:TH, and they threw everything out of the window. I'll be interested to see how low they can sink.

Borderlands/Destiny/Warframe IMO is pretty fun, but it just isn't the same gunplay as Payday. In those games, your guns feel weak. At least that's how it seems to me due to the games having mini-bosses, bosses and such.

Cloakers have 600 HP and a Headshot Multiplier of 4.29 the last time i checked. Probably the multiplier??
The weird thing is that i have no problem pulling off a one shot kill to the head on a cloaker atm, then again im using a deagle.
I'll just take a chance to play some other games but hey, if anyone needs someone to fill in someone who left, i'll still mostly be up for a round or two

They are still working on it actually, just super slow progress.
I don't want to lose payday because it's the only online game I play and I don't want to see it down the drain the way TF2 went
it's terifying, TF2 snuck up on me but this I'm watching all happen at once
honestly mechanic wise the game is pretty simple
a good team with a decent idea of project management and an engine they were comfortable in could probably put out a proof of concept competitor pretty quickly
Sometimes you get a really good game with a solid communicating team, and the game feels so good.
I had a run of shitty games today, but got in one good cook off with 3 other people, and it was a hell of a lot of fun.

We didn't even make it half way through the drilling process because skulldozers murdered us because we had weak as fuck weapons.
I was gonna be like "this shit aint gonna work" but he insisted for some fucking reason.
At least when you look at it in general, Crimefest still gave us an easier swat van, one of the most annoying enemies have been made a bit less worse
Honestly the biggest obstacle to me playing this game again is the weapon rebalance (mods are also a problem but they'll be fixed soon apparently). I'm not a metafag but apparently everything has been turned upside down, going by reactions. Plus shotguns are a [I]big[/I] part of my playstyle - Mosconi for dodge, Raven for stealth, Jocelyn for loud - and apparently they've been nerfed to oblivion which stinks.

Honestly the nerfs to shotguns were completely unnecessary, i have no reason to use any primary shotguns at the moment over my AK.762, Xbow or LMG now, EVEN with the perks.
I don't know why would anyone use any assault rifle besides m308

why am I allowed 50 exploding crossbow rounds when sticking explosive rounds in my judge magically restricts me to as many shells as I can stuff in my pants
I haven't had a problem with the rebalance, but that might be since i always used what i felt like using anyway
Which mostly consisted of my AK.762 and Crosskill, and any other weapon i felt like using at the time

What sucks is that the magazine is absolute garbage unless you have mag plus, i can get a rifle on par with the M308 with a clip that is 2 to 3 times bigger than that with mag plus.
With a DMR you want as less downtime as possible for time to kill, which is why it isn't my favorite. If there was a magazine increase of 10 at base, i would use it more often.
What a shit show. I guess it really is time to uninstall. I can't believe they just used the same script as infamy 2 and bluntly said they won't take stats off skins
