I'm probably late to the starbreeze discussion, but them dumping [I]millions[/I] into starvr seems like the most ridiculous thing. VR in my opinion seems to be a fad that has resurfaced with actual legit tech, but only to fall into the category of "gimmick" after all the hype had died down.

I haven't touched PD2 in over a year and now I'm almost certain whether or not it's worth playing again. What a fucking waste. I know it's naive to expect honesty from game devs these days but from people who originally thrived on their loyal fanbase to then betray a promise and have the gall to sweep it under the carpet/blatantly state it feels like a kick in the teeth. Reminds me a little of Bioware.

Not to mention if you look at FWB and Slaughter, they have updated textures/models for everything. It isn't as much of a port as people think.

Then how frequent are the safe drops?
Same as the drills?
They're on the same timer, so basically you either get a safe or a drill every x days

On the main inventory screen, equip the weapon you want to customize and right click on it.
I did get a safe drop after my first crimefest heist, but I still haven't gotten the drill from FWB or slaughterhouse

I'm done with pubs lasting more than 1 day.
Fifth time getting kicked on overkill hoxton breakout on second day for no reason.
In the last week I have had a drill and 2 safes drop.
Cannot remember when the drill dropped, but I got a safe on Saturday and a safe today (Monday).
My friend who was in the game each time I got one of the drops, got a safe 3 times.
And yeah playing with pubs is fun.
I have been kicked for not having skins, I have been kicked for having skins, I have been kicked for being infamy XXV-100, And kicked for using hax to regen my health when I shot cops...
So yeah pubs are hell at times. So best bet either play with friends or Host your own games.
Just a heads up, selling a drill on the market still gives profits to Overkill
Just something to keep in mind if you don't want to support their practices
And going by the price added to what you sell it looks like Overkill add 10% to the price.

Even selling it isn't profitable considering Overkill keeps their drill prices lower than the market average.
More people are gonna buy from Overkill than the market, that's why there are so many being ready to sell right now.
You'll be lucky to make money off the drill, considering that the demand is low for Drills on the Steam Market. Have a shot but i don't think its something to rely on.
For reference, a Drill from Overkill in the UK Costs £1.60, as opposed to the market right now where it's £1.85.
