This character priority is really great, especially when it gets reset to a random loadout of characters and becomes pointless.
The game keeps replacing my fave characters (dragan, chains and dallas) by Bonnie, Jiro and Hoxton.
If anyone wants to do lab rats, I'm down.
Donacdum is ridiculously catchy I can't stop listening to it.
If somebody knows the secret loot dropoff, i would appreciate you telling me
Also a little thing for the Necro Cloaker, it seems he appears after you start a second run
I want a steel chair melee using the bolt cutter animations.

What's with that font
What's with that music
People's tastes are weird.
So I learnt the hard way that if you're laggy at all, pillows do not negate fall damage, and more than often there's nowhere to go but down. Well there is just one way down via walking but it's on the far side of the map.

I thought it was reddit fucking with me at first, its just really buggy atm.
The pillow by the meth tray always works for me. The ones in the middle, not so much.
So fucking pissed right now. Almost finished Slaughterhouse on Overkill, lose connection to host. Join V. Hard meltdown, get all the way to the end, everyone's 3 feet from finishing, lose connection to host.
Both games would've given me a load of money and levelled me up. Goddammit, overkill.

I have NO IDEA what to do on the new map.
Anyone can explain it to me?

For a split moment I thought it was some out of the blue halloween crossover. Actually just someone's L4D2 addon with a impressively well done custom mask they made.

Oh hey, I made that. Glad you all like it!!
Took me for freakin' ever to figure out what kind of paint job to do on Nick's mask, heh.

1. Put the tablet into the mixer, easy done.
2. Bain will drop off supplies.
Red bags are [MU] Muriatic Acid. Blue bags are [CS] Caustic Soda. Green bags are [HCL] Hydrogen Chloride.
3. Bain will say what ingredient you need to put in. Say he says Caustic Soda. Look at the large whiteboard, Caustic Soda is the Blue barrel. Collect 3 Blue Caustic Soda bags and throw them in, second closest drop off to spawn. Bain will frequently make mistakes and say the wrong ingredient, ignore him, you always need to put in three of the same bag till the 0/3 counter is full. He may elaborate this is because the bags are small and you need big doses.
4. If told to add MU, throw the Red Muriatic Acid bags into the beaker of Red goop, it's closest to spawn. If you're told to add HCL, throw the Green Hydrogen Chloride bags into the white bucket (full of Green goop) into the dropoff most far from spawn.
5. Once all 9 bags have been added, shoot or explode the cooked meth to break it into 4 chunks. Once you smash each piece up enough it'll change from a crosshair icon to a bag icon. Shotguns work well. Throw those into the pans on the ground below the table. If you just miss it should still count.
6. Bain will allow you to place a flare near the Blue CS barrel to call the chopper, the chopper will stay there permanently (AFAIK). Place another pill into the mixer to start a new batch.
---
A. If you see the spider, shoot it a few times or wait a while and it will flee. It will swipe with it's legs if you get too close hurting you.
B. If you hear the Necro Cloaker arrive, all human players have the option of entering the circle around the Titan safe. Doing so will start a 2 minute countdown where tons of cops and specials will start spawning. If you leave the circle the Cloaker will leave. If you last 2 minutes the Cloaker will call you a bitch and roundhouse kick the safe, spitting out a headless Titan dozer and tons of loot bags, throw them into the pans. Any enemies spawned by the Cloaker event despawn when time is up.
C. Look for pillows (Not the ice bags surrounding the Blue CS barrel!). Run and jump onto them and you will not take falling damage. Doesn't work for jack shit if you're laggy (eg you're Aus and joining a US host.)
D. Study your surroundings, make sure to know where ladders, ziplines and pillows are. Also be wary of bulldozers that spawn in groups and the occasional squad of bronco cops.
I really don't understand the new cooking instructions.

It looks great, and even with how shady Overkill have been recently, I seriously hope that if they were ever considering a crossover with L4D again, they'd commission/consult you for the models or design or whatever. The mask is pretty perfect for his character, and I like the rings over the gloves, they would be a nice flair in first person (like Wick's gloves or Jiro's tats).
It's unlikely that it would ever happen, and it's not something that I'd seriously considered before, but the quality of work in that image really made me want it. Hell, if Payday is crossing over with GOAT SIMULATOR, I don't see why this couldn't/shouldn't happen.

The heist was supposed to have a new drivable vehicle on it. RIP.
So what's up with Safehouse Nightmare? Supposedly looking away no longer works, but when I was the last man standing I did just that and managed to escape. Does it only work if everyone else is in custody now?

Looks like they did take away the whole 'look away' thing, but it's still cake if you have an RPG, HE shottie and flame weapons to stunlock dozers. Just camp at the shooting range and just spam HE once you get movin' the bags.
I also just realized that all of the above requires DLC, which sucks.
That titan safe that you stand near to complete the 'boss' battle isn't anything new, Goldfarb showed it off on Jewelry Store in 2013 and seemed like a anti c4/ecm rush countermeasure.

Shame we haven't seen more skill cooperation like it looks like there (Drills, C4?, Lockpicking, OVE)
I really don't understand the new cooking instructions.
For Lab Rats, it's the same as Rats / Cook Off. It's just that each ingredient bag is small, so you have to put in 3 bags to = one full ingredient. Regardless of what Bain says, if he says you need to put in a particular item, you gotta put all 3 pieces in. The only other difference from Rats / Cook Off is you can explode the map by
A. putting in the wrong ingredient
B. throwing an ingredient bag into the wrong hole. EG: Bain wants CS, you throw the CS into the HCL bucket, kaboom.

When I first saw this about two years ago, I groaned and figured it was just a bigger variation of a titan safe; dumb and just a way to artificially inflate the length of a heist. But now, I feel like my opinion has changed. A double-stage safe that contains safe deposit boxes would be nice if it meant it offered the chance of more loot than a regular square safe. Plus that lilttle space under the deposit boxes still makes it look like it could carry something outside those deposit boxes.
Payday 2 is still lacking in scenarios where players are put in a situation where they have to decide between more loot, or a higher chance of escaping the heist successfully with less loot. The one thing a game about robbery has failed to capture is the "How much is too much" question.
For some reason I find myself intrigued with Goldfarb's ideas from his era of the game that were never implemented. He was a scapegoat for the game that probably got undeserved flak from a lot of people, including me. The state of the game now makes me wonder what it would be like had it stayed under his guidance, perhaps better, perhaps worse.
I still want to see a heist that has both stealth and loud. Kinda like a prep phase before shit hits the fan. A good ghost could make the heist much easier to the team by sabotaging doors, setting booby traps etc etc. Now it's either stealth, or failed stealth.
It really shows that they wanted ghosts to be present in loud heists, with the perks for silenced guns doing more damage;ECM feedback;the ECMs affecting SWAT vans; those three of those on top of dodge.
It seems like they really wanted to keep the "4 unique heisters with unique skills", dream alive. But it doesn't work in practice, because people mostly min-max.
I'd like to see more heists where the further you make it in stealth, the easier loud is (or the more loot you get). Most of the time it just feels like if you go loud, you just have to go back to the beginning (i.e. any heist with thermal drills), and might as well have done loud from the start.
Ugggh fuck
I don't want to come back to this game, I still think the rebalance and the microtransactions are shit, but then all the GOOD stuff that happened during Crimefest and Halloween was really, really good and it's tempting me hard to come back
