One single good point of this update: Lab rats is permanent.
The rest is complete bullshit,and it won't change until they get rid of stats boost and make the key drop rate higher.

Got my hands on a certain lua relating to skins. Now I get to play with somewhat pretty guns without opening a single damn safe. I'm not stupid, I didn't go and equip every single Legendary and Epic I could find. Selected only ones that look pleasing, if possible. Not too bad, some of them.

Anybody who was expecting the completely Overkill pack to be anything but disappointment was probably begging for this sort of thing to happen. Although, it's still pretty pitiful even if you weren't one of the poor souls who bought into it. This bad ride just won't end, will it?
I'd also like to say to anybody that tries to claim Overkill isn't responsible for anything, and it's purely Starbreeze/publishers or something.. Bullshit. Even if that were the truth, and microtransactions were completely forced by their publishers, there would still be plenty of things Overkill have done on their own accord that are still quite dubious. Or are these people going to tell me Starbreeze also makes Overkill hold game updates and tweaks hostage behind stretch goals on events now too?

Thank god for LUA modding in general.

I uninstalled the game. I'm not having fun playing it anymore and OVK doesn't seem motivated to bring something actually new to the game. I'll stick around until something actually good happen.

That's what gets me the most. It's like they assumed that everyone who bought the COP actually likes red/black color schemes. I think it looks absolutely atrocious and edgy.
As long as mods exist, I exist in-game. If they kill modding in this game, I'm out.

The practice of 'you don't get copies of [product] if you already own it on steam!' fucking boils my blood. What am I getting then? Nothing?
It pissed me off with KF2 deluxe including KF1. Yeah right, the people who would buy the deluxe edition of an early access game wouldn't be fans of the franchise, and wouldn't at least already own the original game.
Now it rears it's ugly head again, on top of an overall shit update for Payday as well. I have no idea how it's even legal to 'provide' a product but only actually pay out if the customer doesn't already have it in their library. It's just a cheap way to artificially inflate the value of a bundle. Here you are, we're giving you this for free! Only not really, you're getting shit all and we're effectively charging you twice for that product.
I sincerely hope that somebody takes legal action against steam for allowing this, and then all us COP-buying suckers can get the value of the DLC's added to our steam wallets, or additional copies of the DLC at the very least.

Sure it's bad but I think the shitey state of affairs that happened to Batman: Arkham city are worse... how does one pull a game from the market to fix it, waits a few months then somehow makes it come back WORSE is beyond me.

I somehow managed to get the mint condition and, while the plain green side is really frustrating, it actually looks alright on the decalled side

Yep, it looks absolutely disgusting. I'm ashamed to say i prefered the original trollface over this.
Hell i actually liked the baitface mask, it was probably the best out of the 4 memefest masks we got, and now all we have is a disgusting generic looking clown mask that doesn't even match the name or description.
