I still don't understand why they don't want to remove stat boosts. Better yet, who the fuck thought adding another type of them is a good idea? Are Overkill even aware that these stat boosts are a huge part of the backlash? I'm sure there would be less negative reactions if there'd be no boosts. Why not have something like StatTrak counters? Purely cosmetic and still adds value to skins. Also, have to say that locking skins behind DLCs is beyond stupid. Like, let's say a person gets a skin for the flamethrower. He's still missing lots of good stuff from BBQ Pack like Molotovs and Piglet. Him having a skin for a single gun doesn't mean he's not going to buy the entire DLC someday, just to get access to more stuff. So many wrong decisions by Overkill, it's embarrassing.

Oh god this is so much worse than I thought it would be. When they announced the random 1 of 25 thing, I figured that while we wouldn't be getting the same thing, it would be a matter of opinion which 'thing' was better. Essentially that each item would be as good as the next, but stylistically different. Most of it is shit though, with the only 'good' items being the ultra rare skins. And the worst part is, people will pay more for these shit-tier skins because they're rarer than skins from other safes, and some have the 'team boost'. The sellers have to have owned the COP pack as well, and most won't get their money back. This isn't the same as someone paying £1.80 for a drill and most likely getting maybe half of that back, or even more if they get lucky. All of these sellers paid £15, and they're getting what? £2 back on average? Overkill gets a cut of the resale as well. [B]They're profiting more from COP owners being dissatisfied with their skins than otherwise.[/B] I have to believe that this wasn't intentional, because quite frankly if they deliberately made ugly but technically rare skins to increase their steam market profits, they deserve much worse than what the community is giving them.
So... tell me... Did they change anything with Safehouse?

I enjoy the fact that they basically now encourage vote-kicking because the player lacks stat boosts. I mean Jesus Christ imagine encouraging the most negative part of your fanbase.
So i just randomly booted up payday 2 again and i had to accept an EULA before i could play again. I don't remember it showing up when i booted up PD2 ever since i bought the game, so is it new or did they change it in some form and i just don't remember it?

Now that i think about it, this system would have been perfect for infamy, instead of a CS:GO copy/paste you get to choose a skin out of the 10-something infamy level that just give exp-boost. But Infamy is still a useless pile of shit :v:
