I agree the chromatic aberration helps makes it look so real. More games should have forced that enabled.
But seriously, why there isn't a setting to remove that annoying thing? That things hurts my eyes to no end. I'm just asking a simple thing not a full overhaul of the engine. I know there is a mod to disable it but this option has to be official.

For some reason this feels like a really inconsistent and kinda shady way of describing something that's been in the game for a long time now, especially since 4 out of the 9 perks are almost always the same. Anyways, the heists look quite interesting actually, might actually get back into PD2 to play them for a bit.

I'm still not diggity down with this, specially considering that it's paid, but hey, updates. Game's still fun, but with all the negativity attached to it, it feels like shit to even consider booting up the game.
I hate that I got into Payday 2 about ten minutes before it fucking died for a majority of the community

I can attest to this. I mean, if I didn't feel bad having the game open for extended periods of time, I'd have probably... still not have updated my mods... [B]BUT[/B] I probably would've made some form of progress in adding otherwise pointless features which is usually why I take forever.
Right now though, just fixing shit that got busted post-Crimefest 2015, mainly optic positioning (which is tedium embodied) on top of having the whole shitstorm the event brought still looming in the back of my goddamned skull leaves me just milling around the safehouse, not even really making fixes to my shit, let alone testing/adding anything new.

And here they manipulate and lure us again to buy their stuff, to be honest these guys have balls and guts to still punch a paid DLC out of nowhere after what they have done before that they still refuse to remove it, I'm impressed by that and at the same time I'm angry by it, it's more importantly because they're going 2 paths now
Which are microtranscations and DLC's for a whole paid game lasting until 2017, if this keeps on then we'll all end having spent over +500$ on a 20$ game.
Only reason I can continue playing is because I play with friends and we hacked the skins. :v:
We have been playing a lot less than usual for sure though

I think a sad reality is it's a 2 year old, coming up on 3 year old game and most of the hardcore players are just played out

Huh, just been messing around making buying and customizing random/useless guns (I've got over $90 mil cash, sue me) and I've noticed that at some point quite a few of the old DLC weapons' unique mods were given a graphical upgrade, did they announce announce they were doing this and I simply missed it or were these changes kept on the down-low?
Edit: It might be my imagination but a few other mods seem to have changed as well, or was the Competitor's Compensator always black?

I think skins alter weapon mods. Can you upload screenshots?

From what I saw they automatically apply mods but you can take those off and use other ones
The other ones might not be skinned thiugh

I haven't played in a long time but I think every skins alter every weapon mods. Tried that black/yellow m4 skin and added a sight,it got colored in yellow.
looking at the character preview he has a tribal mask and a hunting rifle (which will most likely be a rattlesnake in disguise)

I'm not using any skins, these seem to be texture changes to the base mods
Ex. The Rattlesnake's suppressor is now blackened/burnt at the end, The competitors compensator's been dipped in black paint and all of the original pistol suppressors now have the rose insignia enblazened on them
Nothing major, just like someone at Overkill noticed a few of their old textures were shitty and surreptitiously improved them slightly
