I tried playing 4:3 for a few weeks a while ago to see what the fuss was about, I didn't play any better or worse. Overall I didn't like it simply because lower res looks like ass compared to what I was used to.

Yep it was stretched. I thought the 'advantage' was that you stretch it and therefore the pixels making up people's heads appeared bigger therefore making it easier to aim at people. Playing with black bars on the sides seems a bit silly imo but whatever floats your boat.

On an unrelated note, bhop maps with surf sections are the bane of my life.

Assault mission is the worst. Good thing hostage spawned pretty close to the back entrance when I was doing it.

100k would have been enough really. Why make it 10x that amount? You can't influence gold income in casual that much so you basically get around 2700$ each round = that is around [B]370 casual rounds[/B].
And you can't even do other missions while at it. Fuck this.

I played with 4:3 monitor from Silver IV to MG2, been playing with 16:9 after that and currently sitting SMFC.

I don't really have anything against 4:3 but personally I prefer 16:9 a lot more.

I hated every moment of it. I hate Casual; I hate cramming 20 people into a map that clearly isn't meant to be played that way.

Also, you don't have to complete that mission for a gold coin and I'm certainly not a completion so as far as I'm concerned I don't need to play that mission.

What was your first time playing CS?

I just remembered it was CS 1.5 in local internet cafe.
I was kid back then and was playing with guys that were like 18-20.
I used to ask them to set up game for me or connect me to their game because I didn't know any English and 1.5 menu was complicated as fuck if you don't know the language.

It was fun times, it's crazy to imagine where CS started and where it's now tbh.
