Weird thing is i would probably like that sort of team. I hate taking this game too seriously.
Competitive doesn't mean you have to try hard, it's just another gamemode (a better one and more fun one).
You only lose if you get angry over stuff like this.
Yeah there is a problem though - there are idiot bandwagons who want to fool around and don't give a shit about score, and there are people who want to play normal and score wins.
Unfortunetely there is no way to select to either join idiot bandwagon or serious game.
If someone wants to do shit like that, go play casual maybe?

Casual is shit tho. And you can't choose the map you want to play.
There are many reasons why i would rather play competitive, even if i don't want a serious game.
This is not my fault though. Would easily be fixed if valve gave us unranked 5v5 gamemode servers.
10v10 is never fun Dust2 is not fun for 10 games in a row either.

Yeah I learned what 10v10 is when doing Bloodhound Missions.
P.S - it sucks ass.

I honestly don't care who I play with, I said it before and I will say it again:
It's just that most Polish and Russian people I came across on server - they had toxic behavior even towards their team mates.

You should really try playing with teenage swedes, I haven't played with any ethnicity/nationality that is more toxic than 2 teenage swedes in a premade.
One game on rails I was playing with one of my friends. I topfragged our team, we lost the game and I got flamed so hard by these 2 swedes that were in a premade as well.
[sp]The 5th player was a russian chick who played horribly but actually tried to play the best she could, gave info and supported pushes.[/sp]
The best part about their flaming was "We lose because you die so early in the round." This was after a few rounds where I rushed A as T because the 2 cunts didn't put any team effort into winning. I got 1-3 kills on A and most of the time cleared the site for plant. The rounds where I got 2 kills and died to the third stack on site, they flamed me for being shit while they themselves rushed mid to CT spawn and died to the rotating CT's that came from B.
Oh yeah and they didn't give any shit to the russian chick who did like 8/20 stats.

Toxic Russians actually do act like human beings if you do good.
Honestly, I thought CS GO players are toxic and worst in gaming.
Until last night I watched few rages of CoD and LoL players on esports tournaments.
Holy shit, those guys need to vent out before walking into a game.
I haven't found any raging cs go players during any tournaments but I did find a few of other games.
After seeing those, I honestly don't think CS GO players are that bad.
How does ranking work here? Do you play 'test' 10 matches and then get assigned a rank based on your performance or you immediately get the lowest rank and just work from there?

you have to win 10 to get your rank. you're also limited to 2 wins per day.
after 2 wins, you get a cool down.

You play enough matches to get 10 wins and your rank is determined by your performance during those matches. Of course you have something people call "invisible rank" before the 10 wins, but that's just for the MM to give you a match.
So far I haven't heard of anyone who has gotten higher than DMG with the 10 wins.
Ive sold guns with stickers for like 1-2€ more on the market on many occasions.
Also traded a gun with a rare sticker for a better gun before.
So obviously it does add value.
not it doesnt, selling guns on the market is hella random and if you try to post a gun with a sticker for a higher price on any trading site you will be laughed at/ignored
only people that would bite are little kids or people who want that sticker specifically
I hate stickers.
I really do, they ruin the whole art work behind gun.

This.
So the first match is coming up today at 6PM BST for the Facepunch CS:GO Tournament, I'm at a bit of a bottleneck though because I haven't been able to find people interested in casting the match. It's a BO3 and I'm providing GOTV access to anyone who is willing to cast our fun little tournament today.
If you're interested please say in http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1474799 and I'll hook you up with the details, I'd also prefer it if you had teamspeak installed so I can quickly talk to you just in case stuff goes funky.

I wanna watch it (not cast, just watch)
I wanna watch it (not cast, just watch)
Well in that case, I can make the GOTV public.

I would love to watch it, is there any problem making it public? If it's too much hassle and I am the only one who wants to spectate then don't bother honestly if it's too much.

Its mostly "omg ddos" but considering this is a small tournament, no one should really even think of doing that.
I can cast it.
It will be sit but I could. :v:

Actually I don't think I'll be home in time (even if you would let me).

Should be fine then to go Public?
Should be fine then to go Public?
It'll be public, I'll be posting details both here and in the tourn thread when its ready.

Thank you.
Does anyone have a video of that match yesterday where the announcer was high as hell and going on about "OOOOHHHH ITS A TRAP" and "Balloooooons!" I need it
Which will be closer to realtime?
The twitch or yoitsu.net:27023 GOTV?
Might just watch GOTV, stream quality is pretty poo.
GOTV will be out of sync by 2 rounds, the stream will have less desync.

Weee. Ended up just buying them because [del]probably[/del] cheaper at the end of the day.
I got another 7 day cooldown because my game crashed twice when joining the match.
ffs
Why do people queue for comp then quit halfway through when they aren't winning? I mean if we aren't winning at half time we sure aren't going to win with a bot.
