Why would anyone cheat in casual?
Some people don't care if it means anything, they just want to make other people mad.
Doing the 1 million $ mission gave me a glimpse of how fucked up the casual mode is right now.
I wasted two afternoons playing a stupid mission, never again!!
The amount of cheaters on casual, and I tripled the amount of reports.
Some noobs tried to stay smart and disable after a couple of rounds, but if you do a warmup fully activated, whats the point in disabling after?
(Thanks for spectate_all, Valve)
Being better than you does not means being a cheater.
Get good.
So whats a way to refine sensitivity?
I have been playing with default sensitivity since silver 1 and feel like I am not playing as well as I could be.

What's your current sensitivity? Most people play better with lower sensitivity. I lowered mine gradually and then found a setting I like and have used it for about a year. Also depends on the size of your mousepad.

I'd say that generally what you want to achieve is the lowest playable sensitivity, which will hopefully mean much better accuracy and precision.
With that in mind I'd suggest lowering it incrementally until you find what is both comfortable and precise.
I lowered mine by a very large amount over a decent amount of time until I got to what I use now.

Before rank inflation I played with around 0.75 sens and 1200 dpi and competed with DMG-LE's. So current SMFC/GE? Anyways if you play with such a high sens it's all about the taps, and you don't need a low sensitivity. It's mainly a circlejerk, "You're bad? Lower your sensitivity".

It did result in pretty twitchy aiming, but if you twitch on their head who cares

You certainly don't need a low sensitivity no, it depends on the person really.
I play with quite a few friends who have relatively high sensitivities who can hold their own.
I however improved immensely once I found and sat at the sensitivity I use now which is 700dpi at 1 sens in-game.
It's definitely worth at least trying lower sensitivities.
Are you sure they weren't just ghosting?...Also, no offense, but what rank are you in mm?...
Does it really matter what rank people have in mm? Plenty of lurking smurfs around everywhere.
I've gotten used to ghosting a long time ago, and even with 64 tick rate, aimbotting is so obvious, especially with casual spectator mode.
I was rushing people to die faster (during pistol rounds), then take my time and spectate "targets".
Gamers stating "they didn't spot any cheater" in cs:go have no idea what they're talking about, or lobby-play with "cheater" friends, backing them up.
Two-three spectator rounds, watching every angle, (+ spectator xray), definitely observing the cheater "behavior", comm. blocking, reporting, done!
FPers and their "cheat" sense!
1800 DPI 5.56 in-game sensitivity
1.5 900 dpi just to be odd. 1.07 KPR though, so not worried.
1800 DPI 5.56 in-game sensitivity
Holy damn.
I don't think I know anybody with a sens that high.
1.1 750 dpi reporting
wat
i tried this and i couldn't even move my mouse from one side of a door to the other without considerable effort
Does it really matter what rank people have in mm?
Yes.
Are you silver 3 ?
(jk) :v:
Trying to get DMG back on my main (alt is dmg but main is mge) after the cheating cousin shenanigans, and lost three 30 bombing games in a row, including a 38/20 on overpass. When you get 4 entries and lose the round, you wonder what else you can really do.

Not much higher than mine and I require quite a large mousepad to make mine work. :v:
Not much higher than mine and I require quite a large mousepad to make mine work. :v:
yeah my mousepad is pretty small, it's one of those $1 artscow ones.
low sensitivity to me feels like trying to turn a tank turret/playing on controller
are we playing world of tanks here or csgo
Tried playing one round in office with 3600dpi and 20sens. I kept spinning around and nobody could hit me because i just kept doing 360 all the time

Spinbot confirmed.
In all reality, there's a LOT more to mouse movement than just DPI. Your mousepad, the mouse weight and center of gravity, the size of it, your grip, how good your technique is, how glidy the mouse feet are, your FPS, wrist/arm movement....

You don't have overwatch do you?
There's a reason for that.
Does anyone have any good movement tutorials or references? When I watch pros play I can easily see that their movement is way different than most players, but I'm having trouble breaking down what gives them such strong survivability. My aim isn't consistent enough to carry my butt (even though it can be great at times), and I think I've been focusing too much on that one aspect anyway.
You don't have overwatch do you?

I don't need Overwatch status, or anything else, to spot a cheater.
And most people receiving Overwatch after 150 wins, can't spot cheaters for the life of it.
/eyes Nutnoze
Just seems like it'd be pretty rare to run into a cheater in casual considering there's nothing in it for them.
Who pays for cheats just to cheat in casual which means literally nothing?
Of course that doesn't mean it doesn't happen but I don't know man...
Does anyone have any good movement tutorials or references?
When you're shooting with a P90 : keep moving (it's a high mag and light weapon) so you can dodge his bullets, he will have to reload before you're dead, and then stop moving like a bunny and just rush and shoot him in his fokin head.
Like on Dust 2 T side, rush MID-CT, if there is an awp, just dodge is first shot and you should be able to kill him without problem.
Just keep fucking shooting and moving.
(Left-Right-Left-Right is a good idea to dodge bullets)
GeT_RiGhT, friberg and f0rest are pugging faceit together... That would be fun to face.
They're getting rek'd... what

Why does it even matter if he cheated in casual...just leave and search for another game?

First time reaching MG, feeling so good right now.

Well... since the reason obviously wasn't clear.
Valve looked at my rank and the accuracy of my reports and determined I can effectively spot a cheater - and after the 50 or so games I've overwatched so far, they haven't changed their mind yet.
Valve looked at your rank and how often you make false reports and determined you can't effectively spot a cheater.
Learn from the people that beat you, don't just discount them by saying "Oh they're a smurf" or "Oh they're cheating".
Wooo, got my new mouse pad!
My current sensitivity is 1200dpi and 5,49 btw :v:
[editline]8th June 2015[/editline]
Holy fucking shit, it's literally double the size of my old mousepad!
[editline]8th June 2015[/editline]
This is the mousepad btw
Do you call 99% of players cheaters?
I feel like you do.
I call 99% of the cheaters I see... you're right in that circumstance.
And casual/dm is the proper channel to test a newly purchased cheat, getting used to settings, tweaking it.
Anyway, I don't give two shits about Overwatch & Valve's once-in-6-months VAC anticheat updates.
VALVE needs this more than I do:
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Zuz7uwE.jpg[/thumb]
What's the point of getting VAC updated if VALVE, as a dev team, doesn't get their hands dirty by purchasing the cheat tools, doesn't reverse-engineer the "offsets" existing in the faulty CS:GO (exploited by said cheats), doesn't plug them up immediately, and blast a full ban-wave?
Ye, and selling cs:go copies for dirt cheap prices (summer sales yay!), until they get a proper anti-cheat in place, that's gonna help.
