Yes, but you can play them via some console commands, also, from what I can remember, you couldn't play with friends or something.

What i like about GO is the fact most of the shotguns are actually vviable, except the sawnoff but even that can kill people.Hell if i'm holding B the XM can decimate any push on it's own. But i'll admit i prefer the Mag7 or Nova.

I got to 39 frags in a game, match point. If I want my 40 I have to kill a guy CT and we both miss nearly a full clip at each other before I kill him. Sometimes I can kill any person with ease then one kill just takes several reloads.

From personal experience, Mag-7 seems to be the most "reliable" in terms of damage and hit accuracy.
I don't know why but I've hit so much more often with the Mag-7 than the other two shotguns.

Oh and one nuke match I managed to get an over 90 degree flick headshot with the nova by pure luck. I'll see if I can upload the unedited version tomorrow, it really looks like a spinbot.

I cannot fathom why people use shotguns unless they feel confident that they're facing an eco'ing team and just want some more money. Whenever I try them I feel betrayed by them and especially their firerate what with how often you won't get a 1hit kill and find yourself dead.

Bumrushing someone with the XM sometimes leads to them panicking and losing all control.

Shotguns are good for anti-ecos on maps with a lot of CQC, 900 dollars per kill is pretty nice too.

If you have $1800 or $2450 second round, mag 7 (kevlar) in the right spot is often able to take down several players and even if you only get 1 kill that's still a full set of nades in the 4th round.
