If team loses in competitive but you are on top scoreboard, will it still damage your rank?
I mean Will rank be damaged less if you are on top scoreboard but your team lost than your team lost and you are shittiest player?

I think elo loss is only affected by win/loss and MVP stars. So if you have a shitload of mvp's you'll probably take less of a hit to your elo.

A game loss is always going to damage your rank regardless. But you can lessen the damage by winning individual rounds (16 - 14 hurts a lot less than 16 - 3), winning MVP's, having a AI Bot or more on your team ect ect.
And of course losing to a team ranked lower than you will hurt a lot more then losing to a team higher ranked than you. The only sure fire way to not lose a rank is to win.
I'm looking for a monitor with a 144hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, so far I'm stuck between the ASUS VG248QE ($249.99 on Amazon) and the BenQ XL2411Z ($279.99 on Amazon.) Can anyone make personal recommendations to help me out here? I want to go with the ASUS since it's cheaper but if the BenQ is better quality by a long shot I don't mind spending the extra $30.
EDIT: Asking in this thread because I mainly play CS and a LOT of people tell me that the difference between 144hz and 60hz in CS is huge.

Ive had asus for 1+ year and had 0 issues with it. Hope you're okay with TN panels. I think there are used ones for less than $200 somewhere if you look for them

Do ultrawide monitors @ 144hz exist?
I want to stick to ultrawide (21:9) ratio but I also want it to have higher refresh rates, the only one I've seen so far was BenQ curved, but I don't like curved.

I literally bought the benq like a week ago, and i've had no complaints at all. Installation is easy no hassle. And the difference is huge, colours are great and i have no dead pixels
[del]How do you even make custom music kit? I've done some basic modding for TF2 so in case of CSGO if it's still the same thing which files I need to switch for my own and are there any requirements for the music files? I want to change main menu music to something more fun[/del]

we ended up losing 15-10
Q'ed with a 5man man 2 MG2's, myself as MGE and sadly 2 eagles. now one eagle has so far kept the opponent balanced , but this time 2 eagles fucked the system up and gave us 4 eagles and a nova 4 to fight against.
It don't matter how you cut it, you can't add 2 MG2's together and make an Eagle, or subtract a nova 4 from an eagle and get the equivalent of an MGE player and 2 MG2's.
What you actually get is a 4 v 2 game with an irrelevant 1 v 3 game happening at the same time. I just went with it because i didn't have the heart to say i don't want to play with the guy because of his rank but honestly i could have had spent that hour doing something more enjoyable. Oh well.
Gonna buy myself a nifty flip knife. I've narrowed down my choices between a FT Night and a MW Bluesteel. Which should I get?

So my Guardian game is glitched by the server being online and I can't play comp until I finish the guardian game. When I join the game no bots spawn so I hit abandon on the match and I got this cooldown

Very rarely but it happens. Assuming it has to do with fullscreen windowed and all the tabbing in and out of the game.
