Now Dom. Lower your sens and become the next Czech pro player of Novas.
I'll have to start wearing my watch on my right wrist again because I keep bumping into the edge of it when moving mouse around :v: THIS IS SO WEIRD [editline]8th June 2015[/editline] I literally cannot even lift my hand right now because of the watch. Getting used to this and to the new mousepad while trying to get better at the game is gonna be hell.
or just, take the watch off when you play.. because why would you need a watch on for games
or just, take the watch off when you play.. because why would you need a watch on for games
I can't function properly without my watch :v:
I can't function properly without my watch :v:
Haha, when I was younger and used to play TF2 I couldn't play well without my watch for some reason, I'm glad now that I got used to wear no watch for years, I'd be doomed in CSGO probably.
lol it's pathetic when someone shit talks on mic mid game but doesn't have the balls to do it post game
They're waiting for that special moment when they can win when all hope looks lost, then the shittalk is gonna be real.
i play with 1150-1650 ( 1150 for rifles, 1650 for awp ) with 1.8 sens. A mouse that lets you switch between different dpi is a gods blessing when it comes to cs:go.
yeah my mousepad is pretty small, it's one of those $1 artscow ones. low sensitivity to me feels like trying to turn a tank turret/playing on controller
ay yo i also have an artscow $1 mousepad and yeah it is tiny but i was able to get down to 1000/1.5 and still be able to play, your sens is wayy too high
1.4 800DPI , I was used to play with like 8-10 sensitivity in game, but then I watched couple pro matches and actually started to give a damn and I said "fuck it, I'll try extreme low" .. Never coming back
lol it's pathetic when someone shit talks on mic mid game but doesn't have the balls to do it post game
Just had a game of people shit talking a good portion of the game, utterly silent at the end once we won. At least be consistent, fuck.
Does anyone have any good movement tutorials or references? When I watch pros play I can easily see that their movement is way different than most players, but I'm having trouble breaking down what gives them such strong survivability. My aim isn't consistent enough to carry my butt (even though it can be great at times), and I think I've been focusing too much on that one aspect anyway.
Look up steel, i think he made a movement/positioning video before. Steel is pretty great, has tons of very in depth videos. Honestly probably the reason why i got to dmg so quickly.
lol it's pathetic when someone shit talks on mic mid game but doesn't have the balls to do it post game
There's also that "special" situation when the only 3 voice_chat spots are taken (people are raging, yelling slurs, what-have-you), and the others, even if they try to voice chat, can't be heard. 3 max voice chat queue / or / pea-sized-bawlz
Rolling with that 800 dpi / 1 ingame. But I do have a 95cm mousemat..
I remember when I used to play at 3,3 @ 1600dpi. Then I started to gradually lower it to get used to it without too much difference, and over a short while I could definitely feel improvement. Being able to aim precisely at any distance >>>>>> being able to spin around in no time and shit like that, it isn't needed that much Now I play at 0.7 sens, feels good
Wow fuck off, it was 15/11 our favor but one of our guys dc'd at the very end when we could of won it because he was at an internet cafe and he ran out of credit or whatever. And I got the 1v4 clutch too. (Which also shows how/why I play on high sensitivity, doing a 90-180 degree turn with ease. Not saying it's superior, I may try lower sensitivities but I'm pretty comfortable with it although it being high may be why sometimes I miss really easy shots due to a slight nudge means I'm off target) [vid]http://a.pomf.se/lwdcvs.webm[/vid]
Not sure what sensitivity I should start with. Right now I am going with 1.4 at 1600dpi which feels really low but I can aim precisely so easily now.

i dont know what my sensitivity is but it says 1.2 ingame and my mouse config says 2000dpi so i guess its that? I've been slowly turning down the ingame one over time and I think its made a slight difference
Dr. Haxx, is that you? [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/46283290/haxx.png[/t]
Made it to MG2 in 5 games after being Nova for a year. Feels good man.
[vid]http://a.pomf.se/lwdcvs.webm[/vid]
Stop. Aiming. At. The. Ground. This guy a 0:28 was afk or something ? He didn't not even shoot.
Your spray control is non existent and you reload at bad times though
i admit the kill at short was really bad, I was just listening to my teammate calling where he was and didn't actually see the other guy until the last minute so I panic sprayed
i admit the kill at short was really bad, I was just listening to my teammate calling where he was and didn't actually see the other guy until the last minute so I panic sprayed
If anything that video outlines exactly why playing with lower sens is better
If anything that video outlines exactly why playing with lower sens is better
I just didn't see the guy in my actual vision? I wasn't off his mark, just didn't control my recoil. I heard his call, but it took me awhile to process "He's going to come into my sight right when I turn around".
If anything that video outlines exactly why playing with lower sens is better
It's not working this way, if you're a 80 years old grandpa, yeah take low sens, but if you can control your mouse without shaking, do what you want.
Did anyone watch Keyd Stars vs affNty this weekend? It was a game Keyd wouldn't lose, yet I bet against them. Take a look at what someone won by betting against them: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/USMBSD2.jpg[/img_thumb]
wowe, I went down from 2 sens @ 4000 dpi to 1 sens @ 4000 dpi and I thought I'd gone down pretty far maybe I should continue going down to work on those long range shots
