I just wonder if the service medals for profile rank are noted by year, does that mean profile rank will reset? Will I have to go back to rank 3 to play competitive in 2016? That'd suck, but I guess it'd give more incentive to buy the passes at least once a year. :vs:
FUCK OFF non-english speaking people, go on the servers closest to where you live.... The worst is, they give decent information if needed but just keep talking through the whole game in their own language. Get Skype or something. [editline]t[/editline] What a page opener. Shit, since I used the CS GO server picker it seems like I only get grouped up with FULL Polish teams. Even the enemy's team is Polish.

And don't even speak english. FOK OFF.
Was playing solo a few hours ago because of the Overpass mission, and there were 2 kids who would never give any info and usually just be annoying, shooting teammates, screaming into the voicechat. There was another guy but that one never said anything, but did at least try to kill the enemies, but then there was that I think swedish guy who was the only one who would actively say if he heard steps or anything. So what I played was pretty much as 3v5 or most of the time a 2v5 which is fair, right? lost 9/16 iirc, enemies screamed the usual stuff and the kids continued to scream. I fucking hate EU servers.
Well thing is like, I don't care if they play on West European servers, but at least talk English? And don't just casually chat with your friends the whole time, use Skype for that...
At this point I just connect to US East servers while I soloq for matchmaking, I rather have fun and play with 90-100 ping than playing with 30 ping but have suicidal thoughts throughout the entire game.
I've found that the most Russians are on the northern European servers.
I've found that the most Russians are on the northern European servers.
That's where the fun[sp]toxicity[/sp]intensifies. Russians and Swedes clashing like it was 1741 again.
I mean i fucking hate Russians but Swedish people are the fucking worst especially when they are around 15-19 years old thinking they will be the next top player like jesus kid its matchmaking

If nothing else, just to see if I experience anything like the horror stories others mention.
Whoa, this level requirement for competitive mode is so retarded. I have a ton of hours in CS:GO (I'm going to guess 200+?) and I was a relatively high rank in competitive when I last played.. Took like 3 months off and come back to find I'm not allowed to play competitive until I level up by grinding through bullshit casual matches? Totally unreal, I can't believe they thought this was a good idea, and you level up so slow too! Is there a faster way to get back to 5v5 competitive without having to play 30-40 hours of casual 20v20 micspam shitfests?
I think it'd be interesting to play on European servers.
The only good shirt is the guardian shirt.
I went with my brother and just walked into the Valve offices in Bellevue when I was visiting Seattle last summer, they gave me a nice navy blue shirt with a simple "CS:GO" logo with a guy holding a gun in the middle, it's a pretty classy little shirt imo. [editline]17th July 2015[/editline]
Buy the Operation and mission your way to victory.
Yuck, they expect me to pay extra just to regain access to a game I already bought? Valve has really been tanking lately, I don't know how that is an acceptable practice from anyone, let alone Valve. I'd rather go play CS1.6 or Source than be a sap and pay extra. [editline]17th July 2015[/editline] Wait, are you saying I have to not only buy the operation pass, but complete the missions too? Are they out of their minds?

But that might just be because I rarely queue with less than 3 or 4 and the people that get to my rank by soloing generally would lose a lot more games if they were huge assholes. Randoms on ESEA or other PUG services (CEVO has them everywhere in my limited experience) tend to be more toxic than the ones in matchmaking. And "tryhard" as an insult makes no sense to me.

What's the highest xp rank you've ever seen thus far? Wondering because i'm trying to get my rank higher
What's the highest xp rank you've ever seen thus far? Wondering because i'm trying to get my rank higher
I've seen one level 28 and one 26, otherwise it has been pretty steady at 21 and under.
I think someone is level 20 in this thread.
I am so fucking done playing with polish team mates. Started a game, they had a cheater/smurf or some other kind of assfuck, we had polish team mate who once realized that asshat on enemy team was Polish, he just stood afk basically chatting to him and giving out positions with excuse: "we lost anyway, may as well let them kill us fast and be over with it". That shit pissed me off so I just talked whole team into kicking him ( took 3 kick attempts and lots of explaining that bot is better than that useless retard) so he got booted. That Asshat on enemy team went furious shouting at us "it was my friend". Still, with bot we went from 0 to 6, 6-16 is better than 0-16 anyway + we had bot so less rank hit probably. Gonna join friends Russian team, I am sick of this international mix bullshit, this is getting way out of hand with all these "bro you are from same country, so I will tell you everything where my team is" and other patriotic slav country bullshit. I honestly thought I can play competitive with solo queuing, nope, it's not possible.
Someone's I'm jealous of Europeans. Not when it comes to video game matchmaking though. :v:
I think someone is level 20 in this thread.
Level 20 is a myth. I kept getting less and less xp from matches and ended up there for today.
Someone's I'm jealous of Europeans. Not when it comes to video game matchmaking though. :v:
I specifically started to hate polish players for their "bro for bro ties", even fucking Russian players don't fall so low to be telling enemies your own team mates positions, Russians will rather tell each other cyka blyat and to go fuck themselves than be complete asshats. Nicest people I've played with were British, Irish and German players though. [editline]18th July 2015[/editline]
Level 20 is a myth. Just power through a quick gungame, shouldn't take more then 5 minutes and more then enough exp.
For some reason I play 10x better when it's like 3am and im really tired... Its how i got my mge, dmg and eagle..
I was gonna post about how I got mg2 and then 2 games later I lose it, goddamn it how long will it take to get it again?
What's the highest xp rank you've ever seen thus far? Wondering because i'm trying to get my rank higher
Out of four people in CS:GO on my friends list, two of them are level 23. That's probably the highest out of my friends.
Okay so after like a year of using the m4a1 i switched to the m4a4 and it's ridiculous. I don't see the benefit to the A1 that justifies the -10 rounds and higher price
For some reason I've been matched with Peruvian groups twice on American servers. Both times they spoke English, but didn't care enough to use it for anything other than telling me where to go. So you get to spray down immobile targets with no recoil.
