Really starting to feel a bit weird with how they've handled everything.
On the one hand I like the way matches are set out and the ranking system. On the other smurf accounts and limiting me to 2 fucking matches a day until I win 10 is insane.

When you're in placements, they put you in higher ranks as you go to test your skill. The highest I've gone is being pit against 9 MGE players while I was in placements. Also if you win the early games you get placed higher afaik. e.g if you go 3/7 W/L, you will be placed higher if those 3 wins are at the beginning rather than at the end.

If I want to "dope" and play CS:GO I eat a bunch of acid first. For some reason when I eat acid everything seems like it is going in slow-mo. I have played with LE's on acid and taking 1st with nothing but an UMP before. Hard to explain why, but the recoil for that gun feels super predictable after eating lsd.

They were kind of choking a bit after the switch but they manage to get out from it.
I guess I'm a MG2 now. Did not see it coming, barely got into MG weeks ago and have been doing meh, ever sense I upped my sensitivity.
Hate playing competitive sometimes, People are just honest Trolls/Griefers, What sucks more is when you can't get rid of them

As an MG2 who struggles with aim thanks to a crap mouse that I have to use with relatively high sensitivity due to a small mouse pad, the flicks that guy pulled off are mind boggling. I can't imagine being that good with an awp.

logically there's always going to be gn 2-3 as the middle ground.
Doubt there's a % distribution but I always assume it goes both directions after that. Like smfc is 5% as is silver 2

After almost 500 hours, I've won 4 matches and 1 tie in my competitive placements. I've only played competitive because a friend needed help with a mission.

You'd be fucking shocked. In Dota 2, the average MMR across the whole playerbase is 2100. In CSGO terms, that is like medium to high Silver. I'm only 3500, which which is like the top 30% of the playerbase and I'm pretty shite. I think if someone found out the rank distribution of GO you'd all wonder how most of the playerbase even manages to function at whatever the average rank is because I have no fucking idea how "most" players in Dota 2 are that low MMR.

Where? Did they say it [I]was[/I] the average or did they say they [I]meant[/I] for that rank to be the average? In Dota at least the only time they released any MMR statistics was just before ranked came out on what the unranked MMR was, and those stats were skewed in comparison to the actual overall ranked MMR now. If someone created a website like [url=http://www.dotabuff.com/]Dotabuff[/url] for GO and found out that the overall MMR ranking was like Silver 4, I wouldn't be surprised.
