Decided I'd try a competitive mission on cobble as a SoloQ as none of my friends like that map.
Got the 8 wins i needed but i'm not gonna bother with the rest of the non stock maps, I already stopped soloquing for games 2 months back because i'm sick of toxic players but if i was thinking of going back on that this game set me straight.
1 guy gets blocked by accident at mid AWP'ing and before the offender could even attempt to say sorry he was abused for a solid 20 seconds. Resident bottom fragger was an angsty kid probably half or even a 1/3 of my age never shut up moaning. Bought every single round without the economy, i kill 4 players and die to the 5th and get called a shit noob. No tactics, no plans no no cooperation at all just 4 death matching yolo'ers full of angst. I mean you think of the worth players CS has to offer and i was put in a team with them, thanks.
The 8 wins for a measly 200xp was not worth it. Even if it did unlock the mirage mission which i can do with my friends.
I hate people in competitive who aren't playing it to win and rank up. Just got kicked for clutch or kick and I was the carry.

I tried to solo-NaVi-clutch but was a second too short :c I ran in with the glock because my friends were screaming at me over skype and I'm edgy and didn't give a fuck

Turned my sensitivity down from 800dpi @ 6 to 800dpi @ 2.9, much more comfortable

Usually once you get to global you don't wanna play due to how full of themselves the other globals are or solely because of hackers etc.

probably because most legit/good globals are playing clients. ESEA is probably where most of them play. after you hit global there's really no reason to MM unless you're doing op. missions or playing with friends.
me not playing MM after global pretty much boils down to "i want to get better and play against skilled players without the shitty valve servers." has nothing to do with other players at global or SMFC even for me. (hell, a match i just played on MM for the 32 rounds on cache mission my team had a russian, 2 venezuelans and a guy without a mic and we won 16-6)

Yeah, that's not even 2,5k bitrate. Nearer to 1,5k or even 1k. 2,5-3k is standard for twitch streams and it looks way better.

Nothing shadowplay produces is overkill if you compare to fraps.
You can't just compare H.264 codec to Fraps.
Fraps is eating your CPU but provide a lossless recording.

So I ranked to LE twice now en deranked again yesterday, all because of either a smurf/hacker on the enemy team or some fucking retarded teammates ( even with a 3/4 stack we get some fucking retarded russian that just fucks up everything ) And I usually topfrag with 30+ kills.
I thought that people that are LE/LEM knew how to play, god I was wrong.

Aren't most of the people that are at LE / LEM now the older MGs-DMGs? In which case it'd be understandable I suppose.

Yes and no. Some are ex-DMG's, some are ex-LEM's, some are ex-MG's.

I think we're far enough away from the rank shift that we're used to how things are. Things like how good an old DMG would be are just memories. Especially since lots of players have improved to some significant degree by now. I don't think the old ranks are really relevant anymore.
How does the kick cooldown thing work? I asked to get kicked and got 24hr cooldown even though last time i got kicked was around 1month ago

I find that shadowplay barely affects my fps though, dxtory is more of a resource hog I find. If shadowplay could record multiple audio channels then there would be no need for dxtory

Well yeah duh, because Shadowplay works directly off the GPU, Dxtory is bound to using the CPU for encoding.
So resource wise Shadowplay always wins there, but feature wise Dxtory is superior, you just gotta pick a nice light codec for it to use, I personally use UT Video Codec.
