Managed to get this 3k while playing on my alt acc (LEM) with a few friends on Cache. It was pretty cool how things worked well for me this round.

We won this game and we had a bot because my friend had to abandon at round 22.

have you ever played css before? it's a compilation of incredibly lucky shit he pulled off during a long period of playing on ESEA scrims. CSS had incredibly wonky hitreg back then (still does) so it's not really surprising.
nevertheless, phoon is a legend. i think i end up watching that clip at least once a month

Deathmatch is a good way, but even better is map knowledge, positioning and watching good awpers their pov.

I will fully admit that I was awful at CSS but every time I'd complain that something was fucky with the hitreg people would just tell me how fucking bad I was and how wrong I was and everything was fine.

Then that one patch came out, fixed a lot of the hit reg issues, and people complained like a motherfucker. Meanwhile, I was sitting there going "Man, it's way fucking easier to hit people now."

You know, the past few matches of GO have been weird. I've lost all of them, and I think it was because of peoples unwillingness to use other peoples ideas. The last match I lost, I kept saying we needed three on A on Mirage CT because we were getting butt slammed, and everyone just shrugged that suggestion off and we fuckin' lost because of it. I feel like communication is lower in general. Is it GNM? Is GNM [I]that[/I] rank that is just like trying to pass a kidney stone because of stuff like that?

I've been playing with and against GNM's for a while and I can't say I've had that experience; sure, there's always someone who doesn't have a mic or who refuses to listen to anything we're saying, but for the most part everyone I've been on a soloq team with was rather nice. It depends a lot on when you play - I've noticed that the nicer players leave early while the asswipes stick around into the late night, so I try to avoid playing after midnight.
