I got so lucky with that I joined a full server and the first round I played I swung around the first large corner and headshotted Sergei just rushing out front door.

I'd rather be lucky with cases over missions.

So I've gotten VAC authentication errors in 2 games today which has forced me to get a 2 hour competitive cooldown because I was unable to resolve the issue in time.

I did the things on the Steam page it takes you to, restarted my computer and played a full game with no issue then attempted to play one more and it happened again.

Hadn't even heard of the issue until today.

On top of that, it happened to not only me but 2 others in the first game and 1 other in this last game.
This makes me believe it's not so much my end as it is something else.

I just connected to a casual game about 3 minutes after with no problem which doesn't make sense since it's all VAC.

It surely can't be a coincidence that I've never seen the issue before today and suddenly it's happening in almost every game I've played, to not only me but several others.

There is a way to make an undetectable cheat if it stay private.

It's just going to read all the incoming/outgoing(maybe useless for outgoing) packets to the process (It works like an antivirus), and then it's going to take the right part (enemy pos, ennemy health..) and draw it on an external windows.
Sure, it's crypted/compressed but everything can be decrypted.

VAC Can't detect if it's a networking monitoring tool or a cheat.

If you don't use like a wallhack (Just going where the ennemy are) you won't get caught.
Use it like "team GO B they are comming there" if would works.

TL;DR :

Don't read CSGO process memory
Don't write to CSGO process memory
Don't inject anything

Just read the network packets
Take the right part.
Draw the enemy pos to an external windows
Enjoy.

That's were you have to be smart, don't use everytime, but only when you really need it.

If your team is in eco, and you know where the enemy team is comming just say something like

"Ok nyuggas we have nothing to lose let's rush all long with 5 x HE grenade"

(Even 2x HE can kill the entire enemy team so 5x HE ... )

Honestly though, Gonna sound incredibly cliched here be only shoot heads, if you can't guarantee a head shot then don't shoot at at all, condition yourself to go for the head at all times and it will get you more kills and will make you live longer.

On a related note, the death match scoring system is complete pony. I walked around nuke once destroying everyone using only the P250 yet i finished 2nd to someone using an AWP who had 1 kill more than me. Right because camping rafters with the AWP requires the same amount of effort as running around with the P250.

From past experience it usually happens when you have an external program attached to the game via an open handle. VAC scans through your process list looking for any program touching the game if it finds one and it cant run its usual scans it will notify the server to kick the user for suspicious activity. This could occur for anyone as antivirus's legitimately open handles to csgo to scan etc even Mumble has one. Another reason this could be happening I can think of is the USN journal. VAC will kick you if the USN journal is wiped totally clean on your C:/ drive however this happening to so many users at once is just bizarre and could just be the servers in the oceanic region.

I personally saw it happen to about 6 people (7 including myself) and another 3 people I have on my friends list who told me it happened to them and or people in their game, all within about a 3 - 4 hour time-frame, very weird.

The first time it happened to me today was my first game of the day, I restarted my computer and played a second match with no issues whatsoever, played a third game directly after the second and ran into the error again about half-way through the match. From what I was told it also happened to someone on the opposite team at almost the exact same moment it happened to me.
I had the exact same programs open for each game, which was nothing except for Teamspeak.

It's damn odd for sure.

I just did a game of cobble and a player on each team disconnected with VAC errors :v:

I've gotten my 4th 1w cooldown in a row. I honestly don't care to play comp anymore. I got it cause I left because I was so enraged of how bad I was doing and I wasn't having fun. It's not like I can even get friends to even help me cause they're all higher ranks than me (GN3 to MGE+) while I'm stuck at SEM. I honestly don't even care to play comp, or even the game anymore. I mean, I could just play community gamemodes like bhop and surf, but why bother.

I guess I've wasted 240 hours for nothing.
