I was hoping to see cs:go eswc in montreal, I already have my plane tickets to meet some of my other cs friends there. But at the last minute eswc basically said the venue is 18+ so i can't attend.

You won't be able to see the players play, you'll just sit in a room with the casters and a video projector. The players will be in a seperate room alltogether.

Just tried playing on a retake server, it was quite fun and I like that your positions and nades are randomised but everyone else there was way above me skill-wise. Felt like playing against a team of ScreaMs and I managed barely any kills haha.

whats the name of the app / program / something, which allows you to pick the server locations for comp. Last 3 games despite winning and doing alright in i haven't had a single person speak English in my team except 'one' who asked for a couple of drops, I was just kind of ignored and left to do my own thing without any agro. Which was alright, I don't mind that if I'm honest but i want to at least understand the plan before it's executed and know information like where the enemy are.
That's why I like being NA, because 99% of the time you can at least speak the same language of most of the people you're with.

This normally happens every couple of months but this time it's really annoying me cause iv'e got into somewhat of a groove these past couple of weeks back and i want to continue my progress without just stopping for a month. But that puts me at the mercy of playing with the matchmaking god and while he's been kind enough to give me good teammates, none of them speaking a damn work of english. I'm like the tag along lurk player only it's not by coice, just all i'm able to offer these teams. At the same time most of the enlgish speaking players iv'e encountered end up being right dicks when losing so i'm reluctant to add people off a win even if they are good at the game.
